Rug in the style of a Khotan Pomegranate rug, last quarter 20th century, 5ft. 1in. X 3ft. 4in. 1.55m. X 1.02m. Light red field with all over pomegranate design within a panelled rosette border. Robust handle.
Superb Mohtashem Kashan rug, west Persia, last quarter 19th century, 6ft. 9in. X 4ft. 4in. 2.05m. X 1.32m. Very slight loss to top end; fraying to narrow flatweave lower end, now turned under. Stencil no. 51453 (probably Perez) verso one end. Small central flowerhead within a dark blue medallion on a light red cartouche shaped field of floral and pale blue strapwork design; dark blue spandrels each with an ivory floral cartouche; dark blue floral main border and light red floral guards; outer stripe of camel and ivory medachyl design. Close cropped velvety wool and rich palette.
Sarab runner, north west Persia, dated 1344 (AH) [1925 AD] 12ft. 1in. X 3ft. 4in. 3.68m. X 1.02m. Slight wear in places. Light camel field with central pole medallion, alternately terracotta and light blue, within an ivory main border and light green and terracotta reciprocal medachyl outer border. Lustrous wool and soft palette.
Saruk carpet, north west Persia, mid-20th century, 11ft. 2in. X 7ft. 11in. 3.40m. X 2.41m. Slight wear in places. Mid-blue field with central medallion and inner pale blue centre; pale walnut, pale blue and ivory spandrels; all over scrolling flowers and foliage; light terracotta main border of scrolling flowers and foliage. Close clipped velvety wool. Robust handle.

X 1.02m. pale blue with light brown border and narrow stripes, Two widths sewn together; the second and third: pair of embroidered panels, Gujarat, north west India, 37in. X 31in. 94cm. X 79cm. Yellow cotton ground embroidered in colourful silks with shisha-work details, embroidered on to undyed cotton lining. (3)
Unusual Konya rug, central Anatolia, probably first half 19th century, 5ft. X 2ft. 4in. 1.52m. X 0.71m. Overall wear, heavy in places; hole and surface mark at lower end of field; fraying and 'bites' to selvedges; losses to ends. Pale yellow field with central column of archaic floral forms; filler ornaments of various animals, birds and other small motifs; light brown 'star' motif main border. In need of sympathetic conservation.
Chinese silk embroidered panel, late 19th century, 41in. X 29in. 104cm. X 74cm. The light terracotta silk ground embroidered in coloured silks and metal threads depicting an ivory silk embroidered elephant in ceremonial dress transporting a vase of auspicious objects with attendant bats on his back, surrounded by flowers and foliage and garden scenes. All within a silk brocaded border and lined with pale blue silk. Shattering to the silk ground and with some water marks.
Tekke Turkmen 3 x 10 gul rug, Turkmenistan, early 20th century, 7ft. 3in. X 4ft. 8in. 2.21m. X 1.42m. Slight wear in places with tiny hole top end. Traces of colour run evident verso. Fabric tape to both ends verso. Lustrous wool and rich palette with dark blue, light blue and yellow details to the dyrnak gul design panel at each end.
Shirvan hexagonal column rug, south east Caucasus, late 19th/early 20th century, 8ft. x 4ft. 10in. 2.44m. x 1.47m. Overall wear with corrosion to dark browns; repair to top edge outer guard; small holes and splits in places; crease mark to lower end; damage and 'bites' to sides; slight loss to ends; fabric strips in places verso. Faded purple to light beige field changing to dark brown at the top; double hexagonal column with small infiller ornaments including small animals and birds; ivory interlock motif main border.

A VICTORIAN PORCELAIN PART DESSERT SERVICE, apricot ground with hand painted green and pink foliate decoration with gilt details, comprising a set of thirteen circular dessert plates with wavy rims, a pair of single handled dishes and a twin handled dish, unmarked, twin handled dish width 28cm, cracked from rim, diameter of plates approximately 22cm (15)Condition: the plates have light scratching in the glaze showing signs of use, one plate has a blue stain in the white centre section, it could not be removed with water and gentle rubbing, there is also some general wear to the gilding and to the designs in the centre, but neither is too worn, one dessert plate has roughness in the white glaze, one dessert plate has a crack and stain, the twin handled dish is cracked with a rim chip on the underside, one of the other dishes has similar damage
