The ring is in good sound condition, with light scuffs and scratches to the setting appropriate to its age, and some wear where it has rubbed against another ring. The diamond is secure, and a bright lively stone, its impact maximised by the setting: estimated colour perhaps J, estimated clarity P1 - there is a quantity of small white and grey inclusions under the table facet, which can be seen with the naked eye, though it's doubtful that a layman would notice - or even be able to see them without magnification.
