When placed under UV light the opal phosphoresces a slight green.The opal has a slight cloudy nature starting at the top right hand corner leading slightly off centre and finishing at the point at the bottom. Good play of colour seen, with vibrant red, yellows, greens and blue. Visible join to the mount of the pendant.Tarnishing seen to the gold mount. Possible lead repair to the pendant bale. Chain to necklace appears in good condition with no major kinks or flaws. Bolt ring fastening in good working order.Opal measures 31mm L x 12mm W (at widest point)
