Diamond estimated colour grade approximately G/H, estimated clarity SI2, enamel is perfect, the white gold band is in good condition, very light surface scratches. Not hallmarked but stamped ‘750’. Band width approximately 8mm. Gross weight approximately 13.1 grams.

Opal, diamond and enamel cocktail ring with a large oval cabochon opal measuring approximately 19mm x 14mm in pierced gold foliate setting with single cut diamonds and black enamel decoration. Finger size approximately N-O.Condition report: Good condition commensurate with age and wear. The opal is in good condition and has no obvious signs of any damage, scratches or cracks/chips, only very light surface wear. The enamel is in good condition, one small round disc is chipped. Not hallmarked but probably 9ct or 14ct gold. Gross weight approximately 13.3 grams.

Chinese blue and white porcelain jug and cover, Kangxi period, with later silver mount, together with an 18th/19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl (2)Condition report: The jug handle has some glaze loss, and is reglued at the top and bottom terminals. Some firing faults to the base. The bowl has three small rim chips, a light hairline on the rim, and has two holes drilled near the rim.

Large and impressive Victorian silver oil lamp base, in the form of a Corinthian column, with fluted shaft and a pedestal, with applied laurel wreaths, engraved presentation inscription, Roman figure ten and a Sphinx (Sphinx badge was originally awarded to British Regiments, that took part in the Egyptian Campaign of 1801 against Napoleon). Reservoir now open and with electrical fitting. (London 1895). Maker's mark rubbed. Overall height including light fitting 70cm.

Fine diamond single stone ring with a brilliant cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 2.95-3cts, in four claw setting flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds to the shoulders on 18ct white gold shank. Ring size N½.Condition report: The ring belonged to the vendor's late aunt. The ring was independently valued for insurance purposes by Goldsmiths, Colchester 24/03/2015, a copy of which is available on request. The information in the valuation does not represent our views.The ring is in good condition commensurate with age. The diamond has not been examined out of the setting therefore colour and clarity can only be estimated. Our opinion is that the stone is a very light bright stone, possibly I/J colour and possibly SI2 clarity. The diamond measures approximately 9.35mm-9.45mm x 5.53mm. Gross weight approximately 4.9 grams.
