Late 19th Century Wall Panel, embroidered with a central scene of two birds on a river with lily pads and trees surrounding, flanked on either by a huntsman and gun dog, he has a painted fabric face preparing his shot gun, two bustards flying away above, all within a border of appliqued rose, iris and other large flowers on a black wool ground, bound with olive green trim and matching green mount to the reverse, 175cm by 107cm Bustards; from the Otididae Family are birds with long necks, pointed wings, long legs and toes, eating insects, lizards and plants. Couple of small holes to the wool, couple of cracks to the face and hands of the huntsman. Some of the floral embroideries appear to be appliquéd, with fading and wear. Some light brown marks in the centre - see extra images as well.
