A pair of 18ct white gold diamond hinged hoop earrings, the front set with twelve round cut diamonds, and interior reverse set with eight round cut diamonds, post fittings stamped, 1.7cm long, 2gms Condition report: Minor play to the hinges of both earrings. Both catches are firm, but a little hard to open. All diamonds present, bright, lively and well matched in colour. One diamond within the interior of the hoop appears to be loose, may require attention. Stamped to post fitting. Some diamonds show fluorescence under UV light. Diamonds with inclusions seen under x10 loupe. General surface scuffs, scratches and blemishes seen to the metal.

Lot 379

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby, emerald and 'pearl' ring, the central emerald surrounded by ruby and 'pearl' cluster design, closed to reverse, with ruby set terminals and openwork shoulders leading to scroll engraved shank, stamped Birmingham, possibly 1922, ring size L 1/2, 2gms  Condition report: Please note - all stones are untested as we cannot test fully due to the closed nature of the ring. Red stones show bright red fluorescence under UV light. Green stone shows dark green fluorescence under UV light. One 'pearl' may be a later replacement as appears to have a different hue. 'Pearls' all show surface blemishes (under x10 loupe) Settings are low in areas, commensurate with age and use. Under bezel shows one particular dent, and general scuffs and scratches. General surface marks and scratches, commensurate with age and wear. Shank is mishappen. Hallmarks are clear. Due to the setting, we cannot asses the inclusions in the stones as it appears to be foiled and it has deteriorated. Tarnishing seen throughout the metal.

Dents seen particularly to the base and sides. Visible joins seen to each side. Striker with residue seen. General surface scuffs, blemishes and scratches seen throughout, commensurate with age and use.

A 19th century three stone diamond ring, the central old cut diamond with smaller old cut diamond to each side, set in a yellow metal gypsy setting, leading to plain polished band, stamped ‘S&S 18’ ring size Q, 8gms, total diamond weight estimated 1.50ct  Condition report: Central diamond weight estimated: 0.80ct (5.4 x 4.8 x 3.7mm)Central diamond shows fluorescence under UV light. Three diamonds are well matched in colour, bright and lively. They all show minor inclusions under x10 loupe, appear clean to the naked eye. Shank shows thinning, commensurate with age and wear. Shank shows general scuffs, blemishes, scratches and putting marks to interior and exterior. Marks are a little rubbed. Ring would benefit from a clean.

Setting edge is low in some earrings.General scuffs, surface scratches and residue seen throughout, commensurate with wear.

Particularly seen to diamonds set to the shoulders. Ring would benefit from a clean. Wear seen to the underbezel. Minor thinning seen to the shank. General tarnishing, surface scratches, pitting, and blemishes seen throughout the metal, commensurate with age and use.

A sapphire and diamond cluster pendant, the mixed cut sapphire within openwork surround and border of fourteen round cut diamonds, 2cm long, upon a 9ct white gold trace link chain, 40cm long, 3gms, total sapphire weight estimated 0.80ct, total diamond weight estimated 0.28ct Condition report: Pendant can be removed from the chain. All stones present. Sapphire doesn't quite sit straight within the setting. All diamond bright, lively and well matched in colour. Some diamonds show fluorescence under UV light. Minor inclusions seen to diamonds under loupe. Sapphire shows window/inclusions under UV light (appears deep blue colour when face up, window present to reverse) Pendant metal unmarked. Chain with import marks. Fastener in working condition.
