Pte Perris died of wounds 10th June 1917, probably in the Battle of Messines, with paperwork including grave photograph and registration form, pre-war photograph of Pte Perris and letter of a relation or friend commenting on the grave and the soldier Harold is buried with; Memorial Plaque in original packaging, also sold with another Memorial Plaque awarded to an Ernest Barton.Additional InformationFurther research indicates that Pte Perris was born in Manchester and first enlisted there and is buried in the Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery in Belgium. War Medal displays toning, some light surface wear, Victory Medal similar surface wear, light scratches in parts.
