Britannia seated left on rock, olive branch with 11 leaves, k behind but no soho, large letters, ship with 8 relief gunports, edge hand-engraved render to cæsar the things . which are cæsars and a rosette, 28.84g/6h (BMC 1089 [KP 5] and p.297, footnote 1, this coin; cf. Adams 6). Cut on cheek, considerable light spotting and an obverse rim knock at 1 o’clock, gilding rubbed on high points, otherwise about extremely fine, almost certainly a one-off with this edge inscription and extremely rare as such £600-£800 --- Provenance: J.G.
