Lot 168

THE BEATLES - WHITE ALBUM LP (LOW NUMBER ORIGINAL UK MONO - PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION). Very unusual (complete) original UK mono White Album, this copy appearing to be number '0000286' though we believe may have originally been number '80286' or a variant with the 'third' and 'fourth' zeros perhaps originally been '8s' or '9s'... However, it is also possible that the sleeve has simply suffered minor damage with an indentation running diagonally across the number and it is a genuine '0000286'... Despite the 'issue' with the sleeve and the possible 'altering,' the records are mono originals; record 1 (PMC 7067) in VG+ with a few light surface marks, record 2 (PMC 7068) in very fine and glossy Ex. No EMI credits on either record with -1 matrix endings on all four sides. Complete with clean original photos, spacers (x2), poster and black inners. The gatefold sleeve (top opening) is graded as well-presented VG+ with some light creases/scuffs and a little staining.
