An interesting and comprehensive collection of 127 photographic postcards of 1930's film stars, mostly "Colourgraph Series" (hand coloured) and "Picturegoer Series" (sepia) including Greta Garbo, Clark Gable, Laurel & Hardy, Garry Cooper, Robert Montgomery, Ronald Colman, Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, Anna Neagle, Gracie Fields, Charles Boyer, Maurice Chevalier, Katherine Hepburn, Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich, etc, together with a membership card of The Picturegoer Postcard Club and a copy of "Picture Show: the Film Stars Weekly" for Jan 4th 1936, in a slip in album "Post Cards: My Film Favourites". The cards in crisp condition apart from light corner marks (slight wear to album)
A Geo EIC Light Company officer's sword, flat SE curved blade 27", etched with EIC arms, badge and motto, trophy and floral motifs, brass hilt with knucklebow and scrolled sidebars, flattened lion's head pommel and backstrap, wirebound wooden grip, in its steel scabbard. Basically GC (blade some wear and pitting patches, old black paint to hilt and scabbard). (See lot 1077 for illustration).
A Vic 1845 pattern infantry Field Officer's sword, slightly curved, fullered blade 32", by C Herbert & Co London, with traces of etched crowned VR cypher within foliate panels, regulation copper hilt, the guard with turn down inner portion and incorporating crowned VR cypher, wirebound fishskin grip, in its brass scabbard. Basically GC (blade worn with some light pitting, no hilt gilt remains)
A Vic 1827 pattern Rifle Officer's sword, slightly crowned fullered blade 32.5", by Pillin, Manufacturer, Gerrard St, Soho, London, well etched with strung bugle within foliate frosted panels, regulation steel hilt, the guard incorporating crowned strung bugle, wirebound fishskin grip, in its steel scabbard. GC, the blade retaining much original polish (dark patina to hilt and light scabbard pitting) (See lot 1077 for illustration).
3 Hornby railways OO gauge steam outline locomotives SR class N15 4-6-0 Sir Dinadan and tender RN 795 in dark greenp; 4-6-0 class 5P5F LMS black RN 5112 and tender; and 4-6-2 class A3 LNER Flying Scotsman RN 4472 in light green livery; together with a Tri-Ang/Hornby 4-6-2 Battle of Britain class Winston Churchill, all boxed, some wear and damage. GC (mostly minor running wear)

Minic Motorway: 3 Bedford coaches, cream with maroon flash, light blue with dark blue flash, and similar with silver flash, and the parts only for a similar coach, bodywork damaged. Plus the bodyshell for a routemaster London bus, body not warped. AF to VGC some wear, the 3 Bedfords look to be complete
Britains set No 8 4th Queens Own Hussars comprising 4 troopers swords drawn mounted on galloping horses in full dress, 2 light and 2 dark brown horses in original box with packing card, Whisstock label, mostly minor wear but lid corners split one end. GC (some minor chipping and one sword arm missing); set 229 US Cavalry Service Dress, box containing 6 mounted figures in khaki, on walking horses 3 brown, 3 black; original box, lid severe damage, base GC with packing card. AF to GC (1 horse leg damaged and rider head reattached, 1 arm missing, mostly minor playwear chipping) and set 432 German Infantry, marching in field grey dress with steel helmets, 7 OR's rifles shouldered and officers sword drawn but broken and missing. In original ROAN box, minor wear but writing to lid, with insert card. AF to VGC (minor wear to finish)
12 various infantry 4 City Imperial Volunteers khaki dress with slouch hats standing rifles in on guard position from set 104; 3 York and Lancs Regiment in light brown foreign service dress running rifles at the trail; and 5 Army Service supply column escorts for general service wagon, khaki service dress,marching four at trail, 1 slope arm, all slouch hats, 2 oval base. QGC to GC for age (some play and age wear, head or legs refixed to 3)
2 RHA gun team sets 6 horse team light harness cantering 3 outriders whips outstretched in fixed arm, limber with opening back and field gun, four escort riders on galloping horses with carbines to hand and a fixed arm officer mounted all in full parade dress; plus a walking heavy collar harness team, riders and seated men on limber in khaki service dress with peaked caps and field gun. GC to VGC (most items refinished)
RHA gun team 6 light harness walking horses with 3 riders in khaki service dress, peaked cap, opening back limber and field gun in khaki; together with fumed finish general service wagon with 2 horse light harness team outrider and 2 seated riders in khaki with peaked cap, 3 wire hoops for wagon. QGC to GC (refinishing to 6 horses, riders and limber and 2 seated figures)
A scarce late 1930s Mickey Mouse clock by Ingersoll, 4" square, pressed tin case painted in light green with Mickey and friends frieze two thirds the way around. White clock face with Mickey picture and his arm bands as pointers. Mechanism is foreign made, in working order, some age wear overall, glass still in place. QGC to GC (See lot 203 for illustration).
A flying scale model for radio control of German WWII Messerschmitt 109 in light brown/dark green North Africa camouflage fuselage 42" and wingspan 48" approx; well detailed with pilot in cockpit and underslung tank, complete with detached propeller as engine and radio control gear removed.
