An unusual large believed Italian mid to late 20th century retro vintage sputnik atomic chrome pendant light fixture comprising of a cylindrical support with a shaped junction having three angled squared arms attached, each supporting large cut tubes holding light bulb shaped glass shades. Measures; 144cm tall.
WILLIAM MOORCROFT "Pansy" pattern vase, 1920's, with rose and purple pansy decoration on a blue ground, incised, impressed and painted marks to base, 16 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, accretions, etc. There are some imperfections to the glaze and there are two blisters to the shoulder of the vase. Some light surface scratches. No obvious areas of paint loss or restoration. There is a chip to the outer edge of the frame and also the frame has old worm in places. An Aynsley "Butterfly" pattern tea / coffee set comprising twelve teacups and saucers, six coffee cups and saucers, twelve side plates, two sandwich plates, coffee pot, teapot, two jugs, sugar and slop bowl CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches, accretions and some light staining to the inside of a couple of the teacups. Some minor wear to the gilt in places. Two of the teacups have an approx 1" crack from the rim downwards. One of the teacups has an area of loss to the top of one of the butterfly wings. Another teacup has a small area of loss to the bottom of one of the butterfly wing handles and another has a tiny chip to the top of one of the butterfly wing handles. The tea pot has three large hair line cracks to the body.

Pauline Moore was a twenty year old model when she wore the bracelet aboard the Greek ship Lakonia as it set sail from Southampton on December 19th 1963 on an eleven day Christmas cruise. Four days into the voyage disaster struck as fire broke out with the Lakonia seven hours of Madeira. Some 128 of 646 passengers and 376 crew on board were to lose their lives. Pauline Moore was lowered in a lifeboat and eventually rescued by a British cargo ship The Montcalm seven hours later

A Rare Mid-18th Century Fan, depicting an Allegory of Trade, showing King George III in regal robes seated on a throne surrounded by Neptune, Mercury, Mars and Britannia, tall ships and Father Thames. Above the throne, draped in red, the Lion and Unicorn support the coat of arms of the United Kingdom. The ivory monture is carved (note the designs when closed and laid on one side), pierced and painted with Chinoiserie and detailed flowers. The vellum leaf, mounted à l'anglaise, is printed and hand coloured. The verso shows Britannia with her shield. Guard length 11 inches or 29cm An example of this fan was sold in Christie's SK on the 13th December 1994. Estimated at £1000 to £1500, it sold for £3800 hammer. It was featured on the back cover of the catalogue. Miss Mayor noted that the figure of George III looks remarkably like his father Frederick Prince of Wales. Guard length 8.25 inches or 21cm. Good colour, good overall condition. When closed, one guard can be seen to be curved inwards. Holding to the light, a tear to one fold is visible part way down and just above Father Thames' head. Some slight discolouration to the same side of the leaf and some slight nibbles to the tops of some folds. Some brown marking, see mid verso. The gorge sticks are generally in pairs save for the outer left side.
A Circa 1900 Female Ostrich Feather Fan, the feathers mottled in brown and soft cream, mounted on tortoiseshell, the gorge being of a fairly light shade when held to the light. Tortoiseshell loop. Contained in a fitted fan box, the exterior covered in cream silk, the inside lid bearing the paper label for J. Duvelleroy, London, 167 Regent Street. Guard length 9 inches or 23cm. Overall height 17.5 inches or 44.5cm. In relatively good order, with some nibbling to the monture and the loop. The box exterior silk is grubby, the bottom and the interior fitting are damaged.
A Circa 1900 White Ostrich Feather Fan, the frothy feathers mounted on a dark tortoiseshell with light mottling, curling gently backwards, and no additional adornment. Tortoiseshell loop. Guard length 9.25 inches or 23.5 cm. Overall height 21 inches or 53cm.. clean white feathers in very good condition, monture shiny with almost no rubbing.
A Fashion Advertising Fan, circa 1900 to 1915, for the milliner Madame Louise, of 266 Regent Street (London) and Paris. The double paper leaf, tinted light lilac, is mounted on wooden sticks dyed a deep shade of violet. The leaf depicts recto/verso the latest style of hats offered by Madame Louise, all large and many adorned with plumes. Guard length 8.75 inches or 22cm. In good clean order.
A Large Colourful Late 19th Century Fan, advertising the Grand Hotel Monte Carlo, showing the hotel in prime position perched on the hillside overlooking the sea, the grounds with visitors at leisure walking or riding in carriages. The verso is plain. Double paper leaf mounted on wooden sticks, produced by Buissot Eventails, Paris; and Vezelay, A Place of Pilgrimage: A Large Late 19th Century Paper Fan, with double leaf mounted on wooden sticks, the recto with a colourful depiction of the small town of Vezelay in central France, with the church as main feature. The fan commemorates the second crusade of St. Bernard, and is dated 1899. Signed to the top right corner, printed by Courmont Freres Paris. The verso bears the church Arms. Fan 1: Guard length 12.75 inches or 32.5cm Fan 2: Guard length 11.75 inches or 30cm (2). Fan 1 - Good colour and sound. Fan 2 - Good. Light foxing to the verso.
A Regency Fan, circa 1820, the monture of delicately carved and pierced mother-of-pearl, the guards featuring a figure, the double paper leaf painted on the recto with a delightful and unusual scene of a mother and her son, both dressed in detailed costume in vibrant colours, playing with two tiny animals that have been dressed up in clothing, the male in tricorn hat and shaped long waistcoat, the female in bonnet and white lace edged gown. The verso shows a similar scene, the Mother, wearing a beautiful Empire gown with high waist and lace, seated at a table awaiting a present from her son. Guard length 6.5 inches or 16.5cm. In good order, some light rubbing to the folds and a little wear to the bottom border of the leaf, but retains good colour
