The record (PMC 1202, with Dick James credits for tracks A1, 2, 6, 7, B4 and 6) is in very fine VG+ condition. Showing some light and minor surface marks, the playing surfaces remain sharp and glossy with absolutely no heavier marks or scratches to mention. Crisp and clean labels with clear ZT tax code to side 1. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 1 O & XEX 422-1N 1 H. The first printing sleeve ('right' aligned Angus McBean credit) is in solid VG condition - the front lovely crisp and sharp with only a little lamiante wear, the reverse bottom left section tab is lifting with a small piece of the top right section of the flipback tab torn. Elsewhere bright and clean with the spine in lovely order and fully legible.

Record 1 (PMC 7067, matrix/mother stampers XEX 709-1 5 OH & XEX 710-1 2 HG) is in neat VG+ condition with some light surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches. Record 2 (PMC 7068, matrix/mother stampers XEX 711-1 2 T & XEX 712-1 4 PR) is in sharp Ex condition with a couple of light and minor surface scuffs. with original black inners (in Ex condition), photos, spacer and poster all in fantastic Ex+ condition. The original embossed gatefold sleeve is in marvellous Ex+ condition with only some very minor laminate wear to the front - elsewhere in stunning order showing very little wear.

The record (PMC 1202, no 'Sold In UK' or 'Recording First Published' on labels) is in lovely clean Ex condition displaying only a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks, none of which are ever heavier in nature. Matrix/Mother Stampers: XEX 421-1N 2 RL & XEX 422 1-N 1 AH. With sharp labels with some minor spindle marks, no tax code. With clean original Emitex inner. The first printing sleeve (large mono, 'right' aligned Angus McBean credit) is in wicked Ex condition with the front in extremely fine order, the reverse showing some very minor ringwear. Without any damage to the flipback tabs and with the spine in fully legible extremely clean condition. A top copy.

The record (PCS 7096 2U/2U matrix) is in superb Ex+ condition with just a couple of extremely faint, fine and wispy paper marks. The sleeve (original red apple) is top Ex+ condition showing some slight laminate wear. The original holding tray is in neat Ex condition with a couple of light The outer tray is in very clean Ex condition with just a couple of very light and minor creases. The Get Back book is in extremely fine condition with no loose pages. Complete with the original promotional 'fine albums' foldover Apple poster in terrific Ex+ condition. The outer slipcase sleeve is in clean Ex condition showing a few light and minor creases to the laminate on the front, the reverse in extremely clean order. A brilliant upgrade copy.

WINGS - 'AT NEWCASTLE' (COMPLETE 3 x EMI STUDIOS ACETATE RECORDINGS - COMMERCIALLY UNRELEASED). Remarkable to uncover complete set of 3 x (single sided) EMI Studios acetate LP recordings of The Wings' fantastic performance at the City Hall Newcastle on July 10th 1973 that has never been officially commercially released. The acetates contain printed EMI Studios labels with artist/title/timing information handwritten. 'Side One' is in VG condition with some surface marks and a light feelable scratch on track 3. 'Side 2' is in sharp VG+ condition with a few light and minor surface hairline marks. 'Side 3' is in VG condition with some surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches. None of the acetates show any deterioration to the aluminium lacquer. A fantastic piece of Wings recording history.

'In Mono' includes all of the studio albums remastered from the original master mono mixes. The set comprises the group's 10 studio albums spread across 11 LPs, including the triple LP "Mono Masters", released for the first time on vinyl in this set. The Set also includes a 12x12 lavishly illustrated 108-page hardback book. All records and the book are M/ Factory sealed. The outer box is in lovely clean Ex+ condition. Pepper's (US 1983 ltd edition MFSL Original Master Recording, MFSL 1-100 - Ex+ lovely clean record with just a couple of very light paper scuffs/complete with Original Master Recording inner/Ex+ superb clean gatefold sleeve), Yellow Submarine (1999 ltd edition yellow vinyl copy, 5214811 - Ex+/Ex+, og HMV price sticker) and Paul McCartney - Flowers In The Dirt (PCSDX 106, ltd edition world tour pack number 03954 - Ex+ record and sleeve, all contents complete including 7"/VG+ outer envelope sleeve with a few light creases).

THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (UK MONO THIRD '33 1/3' PRESSING - PMC 1202). Always fiendishly hard to find 3rd UK mono pressing of the iconic debut LP from The Beatles. Third UK pressing with '33 1⁄3' printed on the (black/yellow) labels. The record (without 'Sold In The UK' or 'Recording First Published') is in neat VG+ condition with a few light and minor surface marks though no heavier feelable scratches. The second printing sleeve (correct for this release) is in superb Ex condition showing a little ringwear to the reverse - elsewhere in exceptional shape.

Lot 151

A schoolbook, owned and used by Paul McCartney c 1959 whilst an upper sixth form pupil at Liverpool Institute school. Book is inscribed to cover by McCartney along with his form 'AM2'. With a further signature to inner front cover along with lines of a witty imagined dialogue (by McCartney). The book was used for Paul McCartney's geography work and there are approx 66 sides of writing in the book mostly concerning Scandinavia. Also with a further sketch to inner of the back cover. McCartney would take (and fail) an 'O-Level' course in geography.Book measures approx 16 x 20cm. Some evidence of staining / water damage to cover, light foxing to some pages, a tear on front cover approx 3cm. Provenance: from the collection of a former Liverpool Institute pupil who attended at the same time as Paul McCartney / George Harrison.

THE BEATLES - SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND LP (ORIGINAL UK 'WIDE SPINE' STEREO COPY - PCS 7027). A very neat example original UK stereo copy of Sgt. Pepper's. The record (PCS 7027) is in glossy VG+ condition with a few light and minor surface hairline marks, these not at all heavier feelable scratches. Matrix/mother stampers: YEX 637-1 2 R & YEX 638-1 2 M. Complete with excellent condition original cut-out and red inner. The striking wide spine original stereo sleeve is in brilliant Ex+ condition showing some slight laminate wear to this superb example.
