Additional InformationThe red cover is generally clean and bright with a feint scuff to the front right corner and light rubbing to the top edge. The dust jacket is clean and bright with slight wear to the top edge of the spine section and a very slight tear to the top edge of the back section of the cover. Internally clean and bright. This is a first British edition (hardback), published in 1972 by Victor Gollancz. The printed card is loosely laid in - not stuck in. There are no ex-Libris marks or erasures.

Latter pages with small chips to the tip of the bottom outer corner. 42 - wear to all edges of the cover, some chipping to the spine, tear at the bottom of spine running up the fold and cover detached at lower staple. Some creasing to the bottom right corner of cover. Pencil numbers to the middle of the front. Internally with browning and light rounding of the corners. Crease to the middle of the front cover by alien head. 43 - wear along the edges, heavier wear and rubbing along the bottom edges with a few small little tears. A couple of small chips to the spine. Back cover with a few light blemishes. Some creasing. Internally browned with odd small tear at edge, grubby along the bottom edges of the inside covers and first and last pages. Last page with small fold to corner. Back of cover with shadow line at bottom. A few other blemishes to come pages internally.
