Marvel Super-Hero Poster Set (1974). Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Daredevil. This set was illustrated by Rafael Lopez Espi and available as a special offer from Mighty World of Marvel Comics in April 1974 for 90p! Printed in Barcelona, anecdotal evidence suggests there were production problems with the Daredevil poster and deliveries to the UK were substantially delayed. The complete set is scarce. Early 20th Century Red and White Signature Quilt, embroidered with surnames on each alternating red and white square, made for a Church fund raising, 168cm by 190cm; Yorkshire Signature Quilt Dated 1904, comprising white and grey cotton alternating squares, each embroidered with a name in white and some with floral motifs, central panel embroidered with 'NMFE Roundhay Road Leeds 1904', white reverse with gathered frill, 208cm by 215cm (2) In 1904 the Oakwood Clock by William Potts & Sons was moved to the more prosperous area of Roundhay Road from KirkgateRed and white quilt – fading to turkey red, slight discolouration to white and some of the signatures re rubbing. Could have had another row to the top edge as appears to be the start of another …? See images. Couple of small splits to revers and a patch.White and grey quilt – couple of small brown marks and slight staining, see images. One square using two differing coloured threads. Slight rubbing and wear. Reverse has a couple of very light stains.Unfortunately no provenance available with them.
Late 19th Century Country Patchwork Quilt, with hexagonal coloured cotton flower head patches to the front, within a border of patchwork small squares and pale pink trim, pink rose printed reverse, 220cm by 220cm. Pink border faded overall, several of the patches mainly in brown colour are worn/ ripped. Couple of light stains and wear to the top. Reverse- slight fading and wear, numerous small areas overall where the wadding has moved and a split almost occurring in one area.
Pair of 19th Century White Cotton Muslin Cuffs, with Ayrshire embroidery of floral motifs with heart shaped leaf trim; a White Cotton Embroidered Lappet with lace trims and inserts; a Cotton Collar with double trim, cut work and embroidery, and Two Others; a Lace Trimmed and Embroidered Fichu (a.f.) . All show some wear, one collar has a small hole appearing, couple of very light spot marks.

Early 20th Century Cream Silk Panel, embroidered overall with flowers in silk threads of yellow and rusts, green silk reverse and fringing incorporating the silk threads, 85cm square; Cream Cotton Panel embroidered overall in yellow silk threads with flower heads, within a lace trim, glazed cotton reverse, 86cm square; Cream Silk Taffeta Panel embroidered in silk and wool coloured threads with flowers to the each corner, within a border of ivy leaves, lace trim, silk reverse, 87cm square (3) . Cream silk panel - good condition. Cream cotton panel - brown spotting to the centre and near the lace trim, discolouration to the backing cloth. Cream silk taffeta panel - very light water stain to the centre, other wise ok.
Early 20th Century Cream Silk Robe with drawn thread work, inserted lace panel to the reverse, patch pockets, long sleeves and a Nehru style collar; Chinese gold brocade jacket with quilted collar, cuffs and pocket mounts, toggle fastening; cream silk lady's robe with long sleeves split to the elbow, with lace mounts, cut work and embroidered work, silk waist tie; included is a photograph of the Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged, Sheffield in the 1920s, showing residents making the following crochet lots including the tea time cloth, part of a valance with crochet trim, crochet runners, a white linen and crochet trimmed table cloth worked with teapots, kettle, milk jug and cups and saucers '4 o'clock tea', and two similar tea cosies (rail and box). Cream Silk robe - slight staining under both arms and some slight wear. Chinese brocade robe - small brown spotting to the front, rubbing to the quilting, one pocket repaired, some fading and staining to the lining; Ladies silk robe - small light brown stains, small hole to the shoulder, slight wear overall.

Fendi bag - scuffing and wear to two bottom corners, rubbing to the edge of the flap near where the strap starts, small split about 1cm long to the front, internally zip works but puller is missing, slight wear inside, some rubbing to the leather and scratching to chrome - see images. Fendi zucca purse - tarnishing to the metalware, some rubbing to the fabric and edges, rubbing to the interior, zips quite stiff, slight fading to canvas. Blue canvas purse - couple of light marks to the canvas by the buckle, some scratches to buckle and internally in good condition. Gucci bag, suede rubbed and worn to the outside, especially around the top and base, strap has rubbed on the edges and shows wear, leather mount has come loose from the drawstring.
