A French gilt bronze and ivory figure, of a girl wearing a bonnet and dress, with Lehman foundry mark, on a marble base, 19 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by GH Generally grubby, some small chips and nibbles to foot-rim of base. Some discolouration and browning to gilt bronze, and some loss to gilt, particularly around the shoulders. Some very light cracking and ingrained dirt to ivory face.
A George III style breakfront mahogany library bookcase, having two pairs of bar glazed doors, above three frieze drawers, and with two pairs of panel doors below, 202 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GH Height 205 cm Maximum depth 51 cm All panes of glass appear to be intact. A couple of the shelves have small edge chips but generally good. Some light fading and old marks and scratches and a couple of very small veneer restorations. Otherwise presents very well.

Generally water stained and with various light and dark stains. Polished face with finger marks and generally a little discoloured. No obvious cracks, damages or repairs.
An Ercol elm low table, 80 cm wide, and a similar small table, 46 cm wide (2) Condition report Report by GH Firstly the stool/small table is generally good with one scratch to the top. No other obvious issues and with Ercol label underneath. The low table has a couple of light scratches and a couple of small dents to the top and occasional small dents around the top edge. Otherwise good. We could not find a label.

Some very occasional light marks to page edges but pages generally very clean. Slip case a little scuffed but generally good.

Page edges with a few spots and marks but pages generally very clean and good. Slip case generally scuffed but reasonable. Overall good.
A late 18th Century Bilston enamel patch box of waisted oval form, the hinged lid inscribed "A Trifle from Woburn", the base in lilac, together with a similar example inscribed "A Trifle from Hull", the top opening to reveal a mirrored interior and the base in lilac CONDITION REPORTS Each approx 4.2 cm x 3 cm. A trifle from Woburn - cracks and losses to the enamel to the top (see images), metal is tarnished, general small light scratches, crack to the interior, general wear and tear. A trifle from Hull - various cracks, losses etc from the enamel to the top, various light scratches throughout. Significant losses, cracks etc to the interior (see images).
19TH CENTURY ENGLISH SCHOOL IN THE MANNER OF GEORGE ARMFIELD "Terrier rabbiting", oil on canvas, unsigned CONDITION REPORTS Very yellowed and browned. Some dark spotted marks. Crazing to paintwork. Not viewed under UV light. Frame with various chips, losses, scratches, etc. General wear and tear.
A Wedgwood creamware sauce tureen cover and stand, transfer printed at Liverpool by Sadler & Green, together with a matching chestnut basket CONDITION REPORTS 22 cm x 17 cm. Basket with damage and loss to flower petals, particularly to one side, plus other areas of loss. Oval stand has restoration, and much discolouration to the underside, showing up patchy under UV light although difficult to see the actual restoration. Some areas of rubbing and chipping. The bowl and cover have damage and cracking throughout, finial broken and repaired.

Frame with general wear, scuffs and dirt.
A walnut and inlaid chest of three drawers in the early 18th Century manner, the top with starburst inlay and applied moulded edge, above three crossbanded drawers, to bun feet CONDITION REPORTS 97 cm x 86.5 cm. Top has some minor signs of light scratches and impressed marks, splits to the moulding. Overall this is probably a composite piece and recently made up. Some old woodworm holes. Light scratches etc throughout. Impressed marks etc. General small signs of wear and tear.
A Vienna porcelain tray decorated with Classical maidens, together with a collection of matching coffee wares to include sucrier and cover, small coffee pot, water jug and three coffee cans and saucers, together with three late 19th / early 20th Century pottery meat plates CONDITION REPORTS Milk jug lid is broken and has hair line fractures, coffee pot has been broken near the top of the handle and been reguled, there are also fractures. One saucer has been broken and stapled and has chips to the rim. There is wear to the gilding and paint work to all over and general wear and tear to include surface scratches, light chipping, dirt etc. to all pieces. Tray is approx. 35.5cm diameter excluding handles. Meat plates are all crazed, discoloured, staining.
A 17th Century Cyprus chest with planked cypress top, the front panel decorated with low relief carving depicting mythical beasts, the top opening to reveal iron ring hinges, on later castors CONDITION REPORTS Top has various splits especially to the central plank, chips and losses to the edges,. Many impressed marks and scratches throughout. Some nails have been driven in to the top, perhaps once holding a plaque? Planks are loose to the top. Locking mechanism to the lid is missing, candle box to the right side is missing. Various splits to the interior, splits to the replaced bottom board. Large knot to left side revealing resulting split and loss. Probably replacement bracing bars to corners. Left side has further evidence of the knot and resulting loss and split. Some minor splits to the front, and back, light scratches etc. Right side has large split, some losses, various scratches, scuffs, etc, Bottom board has some age but has been replaced. Casters probably later additions. 132.5 cm x 53 cm
A collection of Portmeirion "Botanic Garden" table wares to include oval serving dishes, circular platter and lidded tureen, together with a collection of Royal Stafford "Camellia" pattern coffee wares, two Portmeirion "Pomona" pattern tureens and covers and four pieces of glassware CONDITION REPORTS All Portmeirion has signs of general wear and tear including small scratches, slight wear to decoration. Royal Stafford has wear to gilt, some light scratches, some small chips mainly to the bases, general wear and tear. One handle of the tureens has a large chip.
A Karl Ens porcelain figure group of two birds on a branch, together with two similar depicting baby birds on branches (3) CONDITION REPORTS The larger two-birds group - both the beaks of the birds have white marks but do not feel rough, some light scratches, some general wear and tear. Bird on its own has light scratches. Two small birds on small branch - some general wear but generally good.

19th century Chinese pith paper painting depicting sailing vessels, framed and glazed, 20cm x 33cm. CONDITION REPORT: Frame is black lacquered, slightly scuffed but sound apart from cracks at side of both ring supports at sides. Mathiesons of Edin. framers label at back. Condition is generally very good commensurate with age. Laid lines quite visible in pith paper (sky area). Tiny repair in margin bottom right hand corner, few light foxing spots in sky. Mount yellowed and slightly mould spotted to right hand side of mount.

Two Japanese carved ivory sectional Okimono, late Meiji Period (1868-1912) The first modelled as a Kyudo (Japanese archer), dressed in robes holding a bow and with a quiver of arrows on his back, signed to base, 20cm high, together with a second Okimono, modelled as a fisherman, modelled on shaped circular base, signed to base, 19cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1034 Figure with bow and arrow has cracks to face and base, bow has been broken from hand and glued. Cracking to body. Cockle picker with hand broken and glued, light cracking to base, open crack to side of head.
Two Chinese Canton carved ivory fans, late 19th Century The first a nineteen blade example, carved with typical Chinese motifs including phoenix in flight, Ruyi bats, auspicious fruits and vegetables, 19cm long, together with a twenty-one blade fan, carved and pierced with Manchu figural designs, each short blade adorned with a white feather, 27.5cm long. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1035 Feather example, clean, just one feather end missing. Second example, ribbon missing, very light cracking.
Two Japanese carved ivory Okimono, late Meiji Period (1868-1912) The first possibly marine ivory, the gently curved as a fruit farmer, holding fruiting vines, raised on a rocky outcrop base, signed, 29cm high, the second a sectional carved figure modelled as a barefoot farmer, dressed in embroidered robes, holding a tea kettle and woven basket on his back, signed, 22cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1043 Base is slightly loose, light cracking to side. Figure holding teapot - broken off base bu feet and glued, light cracking to body, fruit broken away from hand and glued.

CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1044 Light cracking to head and arms, many light cracks to base, otherwise good condition.
A pair of Chinese polished bronze censers, Xuande seal mark Each of tapered bombe form, rising from a narrow base and terminating a folded upper rim, the exterior with good patination, relief seal mark to base, 8cm high, 16cm diam. (2) CONDITION REPORT: 912 grams in weight. Light scratches and wear marks to base and body. One example with small patches of rubbing to bronze.
