Crowned star mounted with laurel wreath and rope edged strap “Herefordshire Militia”, the black velvet centre with lion passant gardant, in the dexter paw a sword . Three loops to reverse. VGC HQ Hereford. In 1881 became 4th Battalion The King’s (Shropshire Light Infantry). This is one of three recorded patterns for this regiment during this short period.

Pagri pin to reverse, VGC (Cox 2722) Formed as Chota Nagpur Mounted Rifles on 7th August 1891; became the Chota Nagpur Light Horse on 2nd March 1910 and finally Chota Nagpur Regiment on 1st April 1917. Honorary Colonel was The Governor of Bihar.

Two loops to reverse. Gilt on crown with light service wear, one blade securing centre AF otherwise VGC. (KK 1230) Raised 22nd March 1853 at Warrington. Became 3rd Bn. South Lancashire Regiment on Friday 1st July 1881.

Mounted on the lower junction of the main wreath, a gilt scroll inscribed “Cede Nullis”. Two loops to reverse. VGC (KK 176) Became 2nd Bn. King’s Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regt) on 1st July 1881.
95th (Derbyshire) Regiment Casualty Crimea War Pair of Medals. Awarded to 2950 Private Joseph Harris who died on the 30th September 1854. Comprising: Crimea Medal two clasps “Alma”, “Sebastopol”, “JOSEPH HARRIS 95TH REGT” (Impressed), Turckish Crimea Medal (British issue). Medals loose. Private Joseph Harris was mobilised with his Regiment for the Crimea and embarked on SS Medway on the 6th April 1854, landing Scutari on the 24th April. Serving with the Light Company, he was present at the Alma and the advance to Sebastapol. On the 26th September the Russians attacked the British Second Division positions and the Light Company of the 95th led the counter attack. Private Harris fell ill with cholera and died on the 30th September. Medal and clasp entitlement confirmed.

2nd Regiment of Light Dragoons King’s German Legion. Waterloo Medal. Awarded to “*CORP GEORGE FUCHS 2ND REG. LIGHT DRAG. K.G.L.*”. Fitted with a steel straight ribbon bar suspension. slight edge knocks. At the Battle of Waterloo the 2nd Regiment of Light Dragoons served in the 3rd Cavalry Brigade under Major General Dornberg, and suffered 20 killed, 55 wounded, 2 missing.
Irish 27th Foot (Inniskilling) Officer’s Military General Service Medal Eight Clasps. An extremely rare example awarded to Lieutenant Robert Stewart Ruddach of the Inniskillings. Comprising: Military General Service Medal, eight clasps “Badajoz”, “Salamanca”, “Vittoria”, Pyrenees”, “Nivelle”, “Nive”, “Orthes”, “Toulouse”. “R.S. RUDDACH LIEUT 27TH FOOT”. Retaining original ribbon. The Eight Clasps to the MGS are confirmed on the Roll. He joined the Regiment as an Ensign and purchased his Lieutenant in 1813 for the sum of £150 from Lieutenant Bakewell who had been wounded. In November 1815 he exchanged to the 20th Light Dragoons and was placed on the half pay list in March 1816. There is an indication he also served in the Americas.
