Report by NG Surface very dirty. Some rubbing around edges where board has moved in frame. Board still very flat. Some light surface scratches. Top right hand corner appears to be a stray blob of paint to sky. Initialled W H D lower right. Board inscribed verso and later white label additions clarifying inscription and providing information. Frame with losses to gesso work and cracks in a gold frame loose in exterior frame.
CAPUCINE: (1928-1990) French Actress & Model. Vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of the actress standing outdoors in a three quarter length pose in costume as Renee in a scene from What's New Pussycat (1965). Signed in bold blue fountain pen ink, largely across a light area at the base of the image and completely legible. Scarce. VG
WILLIAMS KENNETH: (1926-1988) English Comic Actor, star of Carry On films. Signed and inscribed postcard photograph of Williams in a half length pose. Signed in black ink to the lower white border. A couple of very light, extremely minor smudges. Together with an A.L.S., Kenneth W., one page, 8vo, London, 16th February 1984, to Celia. Williams states that it was kind of his correspondent to have written to him 'so encouragingly' about a television programme and remarking 'Must say, it was a very enjoyable evening, with a truly delightful audience'. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Williams. VG, 2
