ROLEX - a 9ct Precision mechanical wristwatch head, circa 1960s, ref 12868, silvered dial with gilt quarterly Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, 17 jewel movement with calibre 1200, signed Montres Rolex S.A, movement no. 53362, case no. 213420, hallmarks Birmingham 1962, case width 31mm, working order, no box or papers (winding stem loose)Condition Report: Good overall condition, plastic crystal has quite a number of scratches with most deeper ones being over the 12, dial has some light pitting and slight green discolouration all over, gilt batons are slightly rubbed, case has surface scratches all over which are commensurate with age and use, movement is clean, winding stem is broken and loose inside the case, needs reattching but otherwise a working watch, caseback has an inscription dated 1963, from a local private vendor.
