Two cups are cracked, one cup has a section broken and glued. One larger plate cracked. other pieces are OK. Some staining and light wear consistent with use.Updated 10/6/24 -Five cups – One - with significant hairline crack from inside to outside.Two – another hairline crack not as big as ‘one’Three – with significant crack to side. One can feel the cracks edge on the outside and the inside. There are two or three small holes to the work. There are two or three small nicks on the edges of the image. There is a dominant circular mark top right circa 2cm diameter. The circular stain close by above is of the same ilk and there are other marks/circles similar throughout the background cream border. Outer mount has discoloured and has foxed spots. Light surface dirt.

Where the date is in the lower rectangular small box are some foxing dots. Few light foxing dots to image also. The image paper has had a chemical reaction. The green is blotchy in areas, and we see a lighter turquoise in areas.Light surface dirt.The mount also discoloured although not foxed. Initials in the box below the image of the nude.

Provenance: Enid Boulting (1928-2021), fashion model; former wife of Roy Boulting, film director (1913-2001) and later wife of the 9th Earl of Hardwicke. On the whole condition is good with a few very light marks to paper around the rose. Paper lightly discoloured. Two or three specks of foxing.

Hugh Birkett (1919-2002) Pair of chairs, 1952oak, with drop-in fabric seatssigned and dated87cm high, 46cm wide (2). Both appear stable and not wobbly. Light marks to wood and a few stains to upholstery. Staining to the cushion underside.Slight crack to back of one about 10cm and a small chip to front leg. The upholstery has been loosely fitted, and we see pins to underside. Looks like the original upholstery still present beneath it in a red colour. Water splash marks to legs. Chip circa 1cm to top of one. Condition report photos added.

To left side where the numbers are we see a vertical section of discolouration, this is apparent to opposite side. This runs from bottom to top but noticeable upon very close inspection.To lower cream border we see less than five thunder bugs.Very light surface dirt evident to border but otherwise appears in good nick.Framing right up close to edges of paper, although we cannot see through the glass whether it is griping the paper.High res images to website with zoom function and new condition report photos added.

There is however light dust/dirty marks to cream border. To some edges is an additional later white paper rim, this on top edge, left edge, right edge.Fold line left corner. Staining to canvas underside of cushion. Few very small white marks on the back at the top edge. No woodworm, stable. Two others - Yellow upholstery - sturdy, light marks, crack to veneer on one of back legs. Little stain to yellow ribbon on upholstery. Green upholstery - light marks, and light abrasions.

ATTRIBUTED TO GIOVANNI SIGNORINI (ITALIAN 1808-1864) VIEW OF THE GRAND DUKE LEAVING THE PITTI PALACE Oil on canvas 31.5 x 47cm (12¼ x 18½ in.) Condition Report: The canvas has been lined. Rubbing and abrasions to the framing edges. Craquelure throughout, some of which has previously started to lift and has since had some infilling in order to stabilise it. This is most evident to a horizontal line running along the centre of the work. Some light discoloration to the clouds in the sky. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered infilling throughout.
