COLLECTION OF PORTMEIRION 'BOTANIC GARDEN' TABLEWARESA couple of the side plates have small chips to the underneath.Most pieces have knife marks to the centres of the plates.It looks like there are two different incomplete sets in this lot.There is a lot of discoloration to most pieces. the large bowl, the butter tray and lid and a few of the large plates are in the worst condition.There are no other cracks or chips just a lot of staining, crazing and light surface scratches.

Harnett, entitled in script under the base 'Deer', 'No.1', printed marks and date 1990, 25cms high Auctioneers Note: The shape is known from Wedgwood's 1997 Genius Collection, in particular the Chatsworth House Vase also painted by M. Harnett, which was issued in an edition of 150. This pattern however is unrecorded in the Wedgwood archives, and therefore likely a unique special commission.There is gilt loss to the top of the finial.Regarding the lid, there is a small scratch which is only visible when viewed under light.There is very light gilt wear to the handles.

All side plates look good, no damage, little wear, there is some paint cracking to a few of the plates.The two serving plates look good, no damage. The sugar bowl has fading to the flowers on both sides. No restoration, no damage. Little gilt wear to the handles.Both cream jugs look good, no chips or cracks, again light gilt wear to the handles.
