An Early Victorian Mahogany Bookcase, the upper part with shaped cresting, fitted two open shelves, the base fitted cupboard enclosed by a pair of fielded panel doors, on plinth base, 42ins wide x 12ins deep x 66ins highTo the top there is light scattered scratching and darker staining. Signs of shrinkage with horizontal splits running from one end to the other. The whole is unevenly faded. At the top on all three front edges there are some slight edge knocks and general rubbing. To the lower section at the top there is some veneer chipping and loss all the way round. On all three edges and at the base of the top on the right hand side there are various areas of veneer chipping an loss. The base has some heavier scratching and veneer loss especially to the plinth base on the corners. The item is structurally sound with little to no movement in the joints.

All the moulding is present and in good condition. There are some light marks to the veneer to the top of the clock running front and back with the seam of the veneer. The fretwork to the sides - right hand side has some slight damage of an area of approximately 20mm square, and on the left it is in good condition. Handle and feet appear original. The door appears to be original as do the hinges, it closes correctly and does not bind. The dial silvering is in good condition and appears to be original. The numerals are clear and concise, may have been refreshed but this would be historic and the hands appear to be original. The glass to the door is free from any cracks or chips and is securely fastened. The rear door again functions correctly, the hinges are original. The glass appears to be original as does the putty retaining the glass. No chips or scratches present. The pendulum is present as is the winding crank. The movement appears complete however we cannot warrant the originality of all components. The bell is likewise present. The clock winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested. Potential bidders are advised to study all images carefully prior to bidding.
Attributed to William Shayer (19th Century) - Oil painting - Continental seacape with figures in a boat to foreground, and fully rigged fishing boats, canvas 30ins x 37ins, in gilt moulded frame and glazed The frame has various areas of shrinkage, paint loss and some areas of outer moulding are missing. The inner slip is heavily rubbed with various areas of gilt loss. The painting has extensive craquelure. Along the top edge centre there is a small area of paint loss around 0.25ins diameter, also this area is slightly rubbed and has a shadow of the frame. When inspected under UV light there are scattered areas of retouching, however it appears to be in fairly good overall condition. A Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Vases, 20th Century, decorated in colours with dragons amongst clouds, on a black ground, 8.5ins (21.5cm) highOne has a very small circa 1mm diameter loss to green enamel at the back of dragon head, with a miniscule area of loss to enamel to the upper part of another dragon head. There is some typical light scattered scratching to the enamel detail on both but otherwise they appear to be in reasonably good condition.

Some slightly larger dents are at the 2 o'clock position, one at the 4 o'clock position to the rear. A Platinum Diamond Ring, set with a solitaire diamond, approximately 1ct, flanked by smaller white stones, size P+, gross weight 4.4g The ring presents in good overall condition showing wear commensurate with age and light usage. The main stone is securely set and all the claws are present. There are no obvious signs of damage to the stone. There is no nibbling to the girdle or table. A Near Pair of Large Ceramic Barrel-Shaped Seats, Late 19th/Early 20th Century, transfer printed with floral design in blue and white to sides and bases, 12ins diameter x 19.5ins high, stamped 'Doulton, Burslem' to interior, and 12ins diameter x 19.25ins high with inner rimBarrel seat with open base - vertical hairline crack from base measuring approx 10ins. There is a small flat chip associated with this crack at the base. There is a hairline crack opposite this one measuring approx 8ins, with two further hairline cracks from base measuring each approx 4ins, one with associated chip to the interior at base. This seat also has some scattered discolouration to the glaze. The glaze is crazed all over. The other example has a firing crack along the vertical moulding line, close to the top measuring approx 4ins. This example has some wear/light scattered staining to the top.

A William and Mary Laburnum Oysterwood Veneered Cabinet, the whole veneered in segmented circular, semi-circular and quarter panels, and with similarly veneered interior, fitted central cupboard and eleven small drawers, the stand fitted one frieze drawer, on later cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, 43ins wide x 19.5ins deep x 63ins high (some moulding missing throughout) Images are within the attached Dropbox link. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/1q76349jh7lnyn7061yur/h?rlkey=yoc2wuy35rlkye1epqf4efexk&dl=0 To the top there is some general heavy scattered scratching, darker staining and water marks (ring marks). There appears to be a piece of timber at the back that has been crudely added on. Around all three front edges there are extensive signs of shrinkage with some splits present with the moulding and the veneer. On the left hand side there is an area of moulding loss around 6ins long running horizontally and at the very back there is an area of moulding missing in a square section around 2ins. The left hand moulding has actually dropped in the corner and has come loose from the front. The left hand side is heavily faded and the veneer is starting to lift and bubble and there are extensive shrinkage cracks and splits. The right hand side is a more even colour however the veneer is in a similar condition. At the front at the bottom of the cabinet there is a small area of veneer loss around 2ins in a rectangular section. The locking mechanism appears to be good and original and the lock plates and escutcheons at the front also appear to be contemporary. All the interior knobs/handles appear to be later replacements and the interior escutcheon and locking plate are matching replacements. There is some light oxidisation to all of the metal components. On the exterior the escutcheons and handles have a slight shadow and dirt build up around them. The base - the drawer has replacement handles and lock plate. There appears to be an additional baize lined slide which is later with added rails on the interior of the drawer. At the back there are flight holes present, evidence of historic woodworm. On the underside of the baize there is a piece of strengthening timber that has been crudely screwed in. General heavier wear to the legs and feet commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints. Key is present and locking mechanism works.

A 20th Century Danish Silver Circular Bowl, by Joha Rohde for Georg Jensen, stamped Dessin, Sterling, No. 529, the planished exterior engraved with entwined monogram, 5.625ins diameter x 2ins high, weight 8.5ozsGood gauge of silver. 30mm x 15mm patch to right and below the entwinned monogram of vertical scratch - not deep. A few light scratches on interior. Marks well struck on base.
A Pair of Late 18th Century Continental Porcelain Cachepots with stands, possibly Ansbach, each decorated with birds and flowers on ivory ground, painted marks, each 8.75ins high Cachepot with peacock - this has a vertical hairline crack running from the rim to the base. Externally this is obvious, internally an attempt has been made to disguise it with paint. A small area of gild above this crack, both to the inner and outer rims, shows some wear, recolouring. Other cachepot shows very similar damage with an extended hairline crack from rim to almost base. This too has had some painting to the interior. One stand has been cracked in half and re-stuck. The rim at one end of this crack shows some loss which has been made up and repainted and re-gilded. Overall there is some very light scattered wear to the gilt detail. The painted enamels in general terms appear to be in good condition.
A Pair of 20th Century French Opalescent Glass Light Covers, each depicting birds, fruiting vines and floral ornament, each 15ins diameter Although the dimensions and detail are identical, these would be better referred to as matched since they transluce a different colour. One has a very small flat chip to one of the fruits which a bird is pecking. That example also has a few very small scattered chips to the edge of the rim. The other example, with yellow hanging cord, similarly has a few very small to miniscule chips to the edge of the rim.

Like Van Gogh, painting flowers allowed him to extend his colour range beyond the simple palette he had been using for his so-called 'red nudes' of 1924. Having begun with tulips he rapidly moved on to more intricate flower forms, mixing them into increasingly ambitious arrangements. The ink signature and date is faded which suggests that there is some light overall fading to the work. An Edwardian Mahogany and Inlaid Bedside Lamp Table, with square edge and marquetry shell inlay to top, fitted one frieze drawer on square tapered legs, with x-pattern stretchers, 16.5ins x 12ins x 28ins high, and a Victorian mahogany drop-leaf occasional table, with triple reeded edge to top, fitted one frieze drawer, on square tapered legs with brass toes and castors, 23.5ins x 18ins x 28.5ins high First table - light scattered scratching to the top with darker staining and water marks. Around all four edges of the top there is some slight rubbing and general edge knocks. Drawer runs free and easily with minimal resistance. Around the two pull handles there is some shadowing and scratches. General heavier wear to the legs and feet commensurate with age. Some slight oxidisation to the metal components. Castors run free and easily with minimal resistance. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is some movement in the joints. Other table - some light scattered scratching to the top. Darker staining. Around all four edges of the top there is some general rubbing and edge knocks. Drawer runs free and easily with minimal resistance. General heavier wear to the stretcher and legs commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound however there is quite a lot of movement in the joints.

A George IV Silver Teapot and an Edward VII Sugar Caster, the teapot by Robert Gainsford, Sheffield 1823, with floral leaf and berry finial, the bulbous body chased and embossed with floral and leaf scroll ornament, angular handle, 4.75ins high, gross weight 11.3ozs, the sugar caster, London 1902, with turned finial to pierced domed cover, on circular footrim, 8ins high, weight 7.2ozs Teapot - the handle is loose at top and bottom but not detached. The lid hinge moves very slightly side to side when lifted but is well seated. There is some typical light wear/scattered scratching to the body but otherwise the teapot appears to be in reasonably good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration.Caster - there a dent to the lower part together with a very small flat dent to the lower part. There is a small flat dent to the upper caster and the knop appears to be very slightly out of true. There is a small circa 0.25ins split to the upper caster area. Some typical all over minor scratching/wear.

Framed in shallow light yellow painted box frame. Otherwise this work appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration. See images for verso of frame.
Harry Beck (1902-1974) - 1936 poster for map of The London Underground with wide blue border, 23.5ins x 31.5ins, framed with plastic glazing Note: One of the short-lived series featuring, believed to be against Beck's wishes, the much-thickened lines in the central area to include the line names plus large diamonds for the inter-change stations. Please note that the size quoted in the catalogue description should read 23.5ins x 31.5ins. The upper and lower edges are rough and not cut suggesting that they may have been folded horizontally and torn to fit in the plastic frame. The map has been folded and there are now a series of three vertical folds, one horizontal fold and a pyramidal fold to centre top and bottom. There are small holes along this fold just below Liverpool Street Station, Marble Arch and just above West Acton. Additionally there is a small hole to the right of Kew Gardens and a small circa .75ins horizontal tear to the right of Eelephant & Castle. There is some light scattered staining/spotting which is most noticeable to the verso. There is a small circa 1ins horizontal tear to the lower right corner, at which point the corner has some slight loss. Overall the map appears to be slightly faded. This lot was privately entered and we have no provenance beyond that.
An Edwardian Satinwood and Inlaid Bow and Breakfront Chest with cross banding to top, fitted two short and three long drawers, on square tapered legs with spade toes, 48ins wide x 24ins deep x 45ins highTo the top there is some general light scattered scratching. Around all four edges of the top there are some slight edge knocks. On the front at the left hand side at the very top there is a small blemish around 1ins diameter. To the right hand side there is an area of moulding missing around 5ins long running horizontally and where the back right support meets the side here is a shrinkage split running vertically from one end to the other, the same on the left hand side. On the first left hand drawer there is a small area of moulding missing on the right hand side running vertically from one end to the other. On the left hand side of the lower drawer to the first long drawer there is a small piece of moulding missing around 3ins long running vertically. On the second long drawer at the right hand side there is small area of moulding missing around 6ins long running vertically. General heavier wear to the base and feet commensurate with age. Overall the item is structurally sound with little to no movement in the joints. The drawers run free and easily with minimal resistance.
