A 19th Century Chinese Canton famille rose vase, the flared rim with margarite decoration, the neck decorated in high relief with different coloured salamanders over a baluster body decorated with panels of figures in a garden setting and flowers and butterflies raised on a circular foot, 23.5 cm high together with another similar vase with gilt decorated salamander and exotic beast figures to the neck CONDITION REPORTS The pair of vases have some areas of white paint to the bodies. One of them sits slightly askew - i.e. leaning in one direction. Large chips / losses to the rim as well as a hairline fracture running from one of the chips down the neck. Some minor losses to the gilt animals. There is a firing fault to the base. Otherwise both have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light surface scratching, wear to the enamel decoration and firing faults, etc. In need of a clean. A Vienna porcelain dragon scale pierced bowl on stand with overglazed gilt decoration on a white ground, base diameter 29.5 cm x 18.3 cm high over all, bears blue beehive underglazed mark to base together with an Art Glass flat dish with white enamel and green glass swirl decoration on a circular foot 35 cm diameter x 3.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Vienna basket - there are a couple of chips to the base of the foot. A couple of small chips along the outside edge. Wear to the gilding throughout, particularly to the inside bottom as if something has been stood there previously. The base bears some impressed marks - see images. Glass plate has all-over scratching as if used as a cake plate, etc. Otherwise both pieces have general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light wear to the gilding, surface scratching, are in need of a good clean, etc. See images for further detail.

A pair of modern oak three drawer chests, the plain top with plank detail and rounded top corners, the handles as finger holes raised on block feet, 90 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 86 cm high (2) CONDITION REPORTS Basically in sound condition though with each having light scratches to the rear panel where obviously caught against a wall/radiator or something similar. One has light scratching to front left corner and small crack along the grain to the middle panel front left corner, the other with crack in same position, though longer, to the middle panel top - see images including example of interior of drawers (all same). The frames appear rigid and free from movement. Drawers open and close smoothly. Dimensions are as per the catalogue description 90 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 86 cm high

A collection of mainly Chinese porcelain items including a 19th Century Chinese lozenge shaped famille rose dish on oval foot, 20.5 cm x 13.8 cm, three 19th Century Chinese celadon glazed famille rose plates, each with different blue under glaze seal mark, approx 19 cm diameter, a famille noire polychrome floral decorated ginger jar bearing faux Qianlong over glazed oxide red printed seal mark, 18.5 cm high, a Chinese oxide red glazed floral decorated plate with faux Qianlong mark, 22.5 cm diameter, a blue glazed floral and foliate decorated stem cup with six character mark to base, 11 cm diameter x 11.8 cm high, two prunus blossom decorated ginger jars, a Chinese cloisonné bowl with water dragon decoration, bearing four character seal mark to base, 20 cm diameter, a Chinese verdigris patinated bronze wine vessel in the archaic manner, 18 cm high and a Japanese Satsuma baluster shaped vase decorated with warriors and a battle scene bearing four character seal mark to base, 21 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The lozenge shaped stand / dish has been broken and repaired in various places. Has significant firing faults, some chips to the base and roughness to the other edges. The celadon glazed plates - two have hairline fractures. All three have some roughness to the edges and losses to the decoration, particularly to the smaller of the three. There are some small chips to the edges. The famille noire ginger jar has some roughness / firing faults to the glaze and looks a bit patchy in areas. The lid has a small chip to the underside. The red oxide plate has some significant wear to the decoration throughout. Both ginger jars are very light. Otherwise general wear and tear. The cloisonne bowl has some white residue throughout, particularly to the base of the dish and the underside. The underside doesn't look quite right - unsure if something has been later let in or if badly manufactured in the first place. There are some small dings and knocks to the cloisonne throughout resulting in some areas of loss and other areas of bruising. The goblet type vessel has a large firing fault to the base. There is crazing throughout and some minor chips, remains of paint, etc. The patinated bronze wine vessel has some surface scratches, etc. The Satsuma vase has all-over crazing and some losses to the decoration. Otherwise all items have various general wear and tear conducive with age and use and are in need of a clean. See images for further detail.

A 19th Century carved alabaster plafonnier of flower head design 40 cm diameter together with a milk glass and brass mounted ceiling light approx. 40 cm drop CONDITION REPORTS In particular reference to the plafonnier, the piece has clearly been barn stored and has signs of earlier damage / cracking through out, particularly around the centre and a large crack to one edge. Various other faults, within the stone, giving the impression of cracking, the metal work is rusty through out, whether cleaning and repair could help with any of this is unknown. A mahogany console table in the French Empire taste, the brown agate top over a plain frieze, on caryatid bronze capped columns, united by an undertier, 156 cm wide x 52.3 cm deep x 92.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The agate top is relatively modern. The base appears to be a mid 20th Century copy. Has clearly been in store some time. Has heavy losses to the veneer on the base at the front corners. There are knocks and bumps etc to the edges as well as some heavier scratches throughout to the wood. The right hand pillar - the moulding is missing to the back of it. The right hand back pillar looks as though it has had a replacement section put on the back. It looks as though something has been removed from the back inside edge. Heavy wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some losses to the veneer and one section of gilding appears to have been replaced on the flower head scroll on the right hand corner top section. The top has some light surface scratching. Some roughness to the edge. There are some chips missing to various corners - see images for examples. There are large areas of veneer missing throughout - see images for details

A pair of 19th Century Chinese blue and white baluster shaped vases and covers, the main bodies decorated with figures in a garden setting bearing four character Kangxi mark to base, 32 cm high together with a Chinese prunus blossom decorated ginger jar with blue concentric underglazed mark to base (no cover), 12.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Both vases have firing faults throughout as well as some surface scratching. The lids have some damage. One just to the dog of Fo finial, the other has a large chunk missing from the edge as well as damage to the finial. One tea cup has had a significant break and repair. Another tea cup has staining to the interior. The other tea cups all appear OK but they sound very dull. All the saucers and tea plates appear OK, however they all sound quite dull. There is some small crazing to the back of the tea plates, otherwise all pieces have general wear to include some light surface scratching etc conducive with age and use - see images for more details
