There he met and married Gill’s favourite model Daisy Hawkins. After the War, the relocated to Ditchling where Holloway became a letterer and graphic designer. He returned to painting and etching in 1969 after revisiting Capel-y-ffin. This view of the sun setting behind Llanthony Tertia has been described as one of Holloway’s most ‘visionary’ works. He made an etching after this watercolour.
