Gilt brass D shape knuckle bow, floral quillon and urn pommel. Silvered wire bound grip. Edge repairs and minor pitting to blade.

Scabbard absent.

Gilt brass double shell guard with folding rear section. Floral ended quillon and D shape knuckle bow. Gilt brass urn pommel. Silver twist wire bound grip.

Under barrel loading lever. Five shot cylinder with stagecoach hold up scene etching. Also 'Colts Patent No 4074'. Blued body with 'Colts Patent' stamp. Polished steel (traces of plating) grip frame and trigger guard. Polished walnut slab grips Matching serial numbers '4074'. Contained in its polished mahogany case with internal red velvet fitted compartments containing steel 'Colts Patent' ball and conical bullet mould with top sprue cutter. Blued steel nipple key. Tin of 'Eley Bros Ltd London' pistol caps. Copper and brass powder flask. The top stamped with maker 'James Dixon & Sons Sheffield'.
