A British 1895 pattern infantry officer's sword, of piquet weight, narrow blade 32.5 in, decorative etching and retailer's name of J.A & N.S. Regent Street London; regulation hilt with pierced scrollwork and VR cypher, lacking the turned down inner edge of the version introduced in 1897, chequered backstrap; steel scabbard.
1796 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword 32 1/4 inch, single edged blade with large fuller. Traces of crowned 'GR' cypher and foliage etching. Gilt brass double shell guard with folding rear section. Gilt brass D shape knuckle bow, floral quillon and urn pommel. Silvered wire bound grip. Edge repairs and minor pitting to blade.

Brass crossguard, double langets and D shape knuckle bow. Brass backstrap and pommel. Leather covered grip with twist wire binding. Blade with faint etching and couple of edge chips. Scabbard absent.

Gilt brass double shell guard with folding rear section. Floral ended quillon and D shape knuckle bow. Gilt brass urn pommel. Silver twist wire bound grip.

Steel basket with heart and club cut outs to the panels. Small quillon. Steel dome pommel. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Basket complete with red felt covered leather lining. Complete in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.
