SECTION 25 - An outlandish pack of the band's first 3 LPs and a rare promotional '1985 Biography' press pack. Titles are of course Always Now (fact 45 'matchbox' sleeve with original and scarce extremely delicate fold-out poster), The Key Of Dreams (FBN 14 ) and From The Hip (1st UK pressing 'MEL/CTS' etching, with original orange inner. Condition Is Ex to Ex+.
JOY DIVISION - CLOSER - 2 for the price of one now(!) with 2 x original UK pressing LPs enclosed in one original UK sleeve (with printed inner). To include the original pressing with a 'maroon/red' light visible when viewed into strong light, FACT. 25, in fab Ex+ condition with barely any markings. Also to include a 'stock' copy with original 'TRUE BLUE?' etching. Also Ex+ with very few blemishes. The sleeve is in nice strong Ex condition with some quite minor ringwear.
JOY DIVISION - ATMOSPHERE - A super pack of 3 x collectible 12" issues and a German 7" promo white label issue. To include a UK white label promo (hand written label 'TOWNHOUSE' etching), A UK stock copy with US sleeve, the 1988 reissue (with printed inner FAC 213) and the German promo (RTD 039 blank white label). Condition is Ex+.
PUNK/AVANT - A fabulous collection of 12 x LPs. The highlight here is an original UK copy of Throbbing Gristle's 20 Jazz Funk Greats (IR0008 'Recut' etching), and is complete with the rare poster! Both record and the sleeve are in lovely clean strong Ex condition with only minor wear. Condition is generally Ex.
An interesting collection of pictures and prints including a monochrome lithographic type print after Donald Maxwell entitled By Baghdad's Shrines of Fretted Gold, 29 x 50 cm approx, three prints after Richard Kennedy of Bloomsbury subjects including a seated study of Virginia Woolf accompanied by a dog, sheet size 42 x 53 cm approx, a late 18th century sheet of three coats of arms relating to German ale brewing dated 1789, a framed montage commemorating medals awarded to Christys' hats, a black and white etching of women and children standing on a shore observing a steam ship, indistinctly signed bottom right K Prince (?), etc
