William Lionel Wyllie - Old Waterloo Bridge from the South Bank, etching, signed by the artist in pencil, 19 x 35cm John Rennie's Waterloo Bridge was built in 1817 and after being affected by subsidence in the 1920s, was demolished in 1936. The present structure was built between 1937 and 1942. ++In fine condition in what is presumable the original plain ebonised frame with on the backboards the label of Wm Whiteley W2.
