Two 19th century hand coloured zoological etchings depicting exotic animals, the larger 22 x 16.5cm, both framed and glazed, a late 18th century monochrome etching 'Variety of Common Hog 140. No.75' (probably a plate extracted from Thomas Pennant's British Zoology), 19 x 15cm, an etching a sheep, an autograph book, etc (6).
A set of five coloured etchings 'The Royal College of Surgeons, Lincoln's Inn Fields' and 'Guy's Hospital and Statue of Thomas Guy, The Founder', and two larger prints, also a signed black and white etching by WA Donald, 20 x 26cm and two limited edition prints after John Western, all framed and glazed (10).
A Scottish Field Officer's Broadsword, to the King's Own Scottish Borderers, the part fullered blade, length 83 cm, with traces of etching, the plated, thistle-decorated, pierced and engraved hilt incorporating the regimental crest, with felt-covered leather liner, wire bound fishskin grip, chequered backstrap, the leather-covered field scabbard with Sam Browne frogSword blade has been very heavily rusted and corroded, subsequently cleaned, but with only traces of the etching remaining. Slight losses to plating on hilt. Slight moth damage to fabric on liner. Grip ill-fitting ti backstrap. Leather to scabbard stained near tip. Top plated mount reglued. Some vermin damage to Sam Browne frog.
A Victorian 1827 Pattern Naval Officer's Dress Sword, the 78 cm blade with traces of etching including Royal cypher, the gilt brass gothic hilt cast with fouled anchor, with folding guard, lion head pommel, wire-bound fishskin grip, part bullion knot, gilt brass-mounted leather scabbard with twin suspension ringsBlade with significant evidence of old pitting, possibly restored and now with only faint etching. Fishskin grip painted white. Bullion knot poor. Scabbard with some cracking and wear to leather. Nipple for folding guard looks strange - possibly later added to an associated scabbard? Rings also strange in appearance.

Silver & Co., Portsmouth & London'', the gilt brass gothic hilt with folding guard, cast with fouled anchor and initialled RM, lion's head pommel with extended mane, wire bound fishskin grip, gilt thread bullion knot, brass-mounted black leather scabbard with twin ring suspension, soft leather cloth case Blade heavily cleaned with residual patches of rust and pitting. Etching worn in places and almost erased in others. Bullion knot tatty. Scabbard heavily refurbished. Soft case worn.

The etching is very faint
A Victorian 1827 Pattern Rifle Regiment Sword, the straight, single edge, fullered blade, length 82 cm, indistinctly bearing maker's name and with faint etching, the steel gothic hilt incorporating the regimental crest, wire bound fishskin grip, bullion thread dress knot, steel scabbard with twin ring suspensionsSword blade with heavy overall pitting obscuring much of etching. Hilt in similar condition. Wear to fishskin grip and some wire binding loose. Bullion knot tatty. Scabbard heavily pitted and with numerous bruises and small dents.
