§ Gerald Leslie Brockhurst, RA, RE (British, 1890-1978) Pepita signed in pencil lower right "G Brockhurst" etching 13 x 12cm (5 x 5in) During the 1930s and 1940s Gerald Brockhurst was celebrated as a portraitist, painting society figures such as Marlene Dietrich and the Duchess of Windsor. Today he is best known for his small etched prints of beautiful, idealized women - many of them modelled by his first and second wives. A little browned and with 2 foxing spots to the margins.

After Meret Oppenheim, (German, 1913-1985), a bronze model of Giacometti's ear, initialled to reverse and numbered 32/500, with the dates 1933-1977 below, mounted on a turned wooded base 19cm (7in) Meret Oppenheim (1913 - 1985) German born Swiss Surrealist artist and photographer. A member of the Surrealist movement along with Marcel Duchamp and Max Ernst. In 1932 she moved to Paris, the following year meeting Alberto Giacometti who invited her to participate in the Surrealist exhibition in the Salon des Surindependants of that year. Her best known piece of work , 'Object (Le Dejeuner en fourrure)' , is a teacup, saucer and spoon covered in gazelle fur. It is displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A major retrospective of her work was held in 2013 in Berlin with lenders including David Bowie and Ursual Hauser. An etching by Oppenheim of Giacometti's ear was sold at Bonhams in 1999.

Julian Trevelyan, RA (British, 1910-1988) Harbour signed within the print "Julian Trevelyan '46" and "SP9" a lithographic print in colours, a School Print, printed in England at the Baynard Press for School Prints Ltd., London 48 x 75cm (19 x 29in) Julian Trevelyan taught at Chelsea (1950-55) and at the Royal College of Art (1955-63), becoming Head of Etching. Besides some mural work, he was a prolific printmaker and illustrator, and he became a Royal Academician in 1987. "Harbour" was the first lithograph that Trevelyan made.
