Attributed to Josef Riedel, a pair of cased, acid-etched and silver-mounted glass vases, c.1900, Bohemian, each of tapering form, cased and etched with flowers against an acid-etched ground, complete with naturalistic silver overlay,22.3cm high (2)Condition ReportStructurally the vases appear sound. There are some minor loses to the acid-etching in places. A small surface accretion to one of the leaves on one example from production. Minor loses to the silver overlay on both vases, and a larger section of loss to the overlay to one of the vases to to the bottom section. Subject to this, the pair of vases present well.
