A Vic Royal Navy officer’s sword, claymore blade 31½”, by Ledger Smith & Co, 9 Dowgate Hill, London, etched with Vic crowned fouled anchor on one side and crowned R Arms and supporters on the other, in foliate panels; regulation gilt half basket hilt incorporating crowned fouled anchor and with turn down inner portion, lion’s head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip. Basically GC, the hilt retaining some original gilt (some heavy pitting patches to blade, partially obscuring the etching).

A Geo V 1897 pattern infantry officer’s family sword, very slightly curved, fullered blade 32½”, etched on both sides with crowned VR cypher in scrolled panels, regulation plated pierced hilt incorporating crowned GVR, plain pommel and chequered backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, with leather knot (worn) in its leather FS scabbard. Basically GC (etching rather faint, some rust patches mostly to inside of hilt).

A very good .177” BSA Cadet air rifle, number B18304 (1946-49), the metalwork having blued finish, the air chamber etched “The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd” etc, the walnut stock formed from 2 pieces and with BSA logo impressed into the butt.
