Framed etching by Otto Ferdinand Probst, signed in pencil in the lower right. Street scene in Rothenburg with a horse and buggy and view of the town. Probst was a German graphic artist and architect. He studied at the art school in Breslau and later at the art academy (1902) and the technical college in Munich . In 1900 he worked as a senior teacher at the Royal Building Trade School in Wroclaw. He published a book with views of Augsburg and around 1900 a collection of his drawings from the years 1898 to 1899 Wroclaw's picturesque architectures, in which architecturally interesting buildings from Wroclaw are depicted with pencil and pen and photographs. He mainly produced etchings , especially cityscapes (including Lindau, Munich, Nuremberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber) as well as several landscape views of the Giant Mountains.
