Cock-a-Hoop In her letter Phyllis Hartnoll comments on the illustrations, "...They are...so entirely in the spirit of the story. I particularly liked the title-page, the cock-fight, the one on the ship and the one of the lovers together. But they are all beautiful, and I shall cherish my copy of the book very much...".
