Samuel PALMER (1805-1881) The Skylark Etching, plate size: 11.8 x 9.5cm.This piece is loosley attached with tape to the mount. Having taken the piece out of the frame, we were unable to find 'Samuel Palmer. 17.' below the image. The piece contains the name of the artist within the etching in the bottom left corner (please see additional high resoloution image). The plate mark is 12 x 9.5cm in size and the etched image is 10 x 7.5cm in size. Overall the piece is in good condition. The paper measures 19.5 x 16cm in size.
