A George V 1897 Pattern Indian Army Officer's Sword, the 82cm fullered steel blade etched with the royal coat of arms and GRI cypher, with proved poincon and maker's name Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, stamped with a broad arrow over I/1916 at the ricasso, the back edge stamped 52986 and etched London Made, the nickel plated steel hilt pierced and engraved with crowned GRI cypher, the guard stamped R.P. 3.18, with wire bound fishskin grip and leather service scabbard, 99cm; a Victorian 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword, with deeply pitted steel blade and hilt, lacks scabbard. (2)Condition report: . 1 - Minor black patching to tip of blade, crisp etching. Hilt with pitting and some loss of plating, scuffing to the leather scabbard.2 - Badly pitted, loss of areas of fishskin to the grip and lacking its wire binding.

•LEONARD ROBERT BRIGHTWELL FZS (BRITISH 1889-1962) TEA ON THE TERRACE; THE BABES IN THE WOOD Drypoint etching, signed and inscribed with title, 25 x 20cm (9 3/4 x 8"), 30.5 x 22.5cm (12 x 9") (2) Condition Report: On inspecting 'Tea on the Terrace' there is a light yellow/brown discolouration ring-stain on the paper located in the lower left quarter section and on close inspection there is very light discolouration at the edges of the mounts where they meet the margins on both etchings.

On close inspection there is mild light brownish discolouration in the paper noticeable over areas of the sky. . JAMES MCBEY:. Sizeable foxing spot located in plate top edge right middle and another located top margin left. Light discolouration lower edge left in plate, light foxing spot right of centre in plate. Fine debris on surface of image left hand section from the 5 wormholes visible in the mount above, and to a lesser degree light debris right hand section on surface of plate. Two very light crease lines located top of plate image on left. Paper very slightly wavy.
