British Victorian 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Sword, being a early example with pipe back blade. Regulation pattern with sharkskin grip retaining wire binding. Plain folding rear guard and loop fitting. Guard with crowned fouled anchor. Large lion head top pommel. Housed in leather and brass mounted scabbard with a hanging frog fitting attached to the top mount. Early piped back blade with just remains of the original etching visible. WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by F W Holler Solingen, fine example with white celluloid grip having wire binding. Gilt eagle pommel with swastika to the centre. Standard cross guard with button release to the reverse. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged blade with foliage, anchor and sailing ship etching. F W Holler Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some surface staining to the blade. The blade measures 25cms, overall 41 ½ cms.
