Neusilberkorn, V-Kimme. Originale Brünierung bräunlich patiniert, feinste Närbchen. Die Laufbrücke zweizeilig mit Herstellerdaten "MASS.ARMS CO./CHICOPEE FALLS", die Schlossplatte gemarkt "WESSON'S & LEVITT'S PATENT". Auf der Trommeltransportscheibe "WESSONS' PATENT AUG 28, 1849", darüber die Seriennummer. Auf der Rückseite der Trommel die Inschrift "LEAVITT’S PATENT APRIL 29, 1837". Die Stirnseite der Trommelachse ebenso wie der Laufhaken mit der Nummer "713" gestempelt, auf der Trommelachse noch Montagenummer "4". Warner. Initial production started at the site of the Ames Manufacturing Company, since James Ames also was amongst the founders and served as Chairman of the board of directors. Based on a design by Edwin Wesson and Thomas Warner, using the patents of Wesson and Leavitt, the built a .40 calibre "Dragoon" revolver and the light Belt model. Production ended after only one year in 1851, when Mass Arms lost a patent infringement law suit filed by Colt against their cylinder revolving mechanism when the hammer was cocked. Only about 800 Dragoons and ~ 1,000 Belt revolvers were ever built.

Anatomy.- Celsius (Magnus Nicolaus, Swedish mathematician and scientist active at Uppsala University, 1621-1679) Anatomical Study of Conjoined Twins, single unrecorded plate from early medical textbook, etching with heavy plate tone on laid paper without watermark, platemark 128 x 86 mm (5 x 3 1/4 in), sheet 140 x 105 mm (5 1/2 x 4 1/4 in), printing poorly in the lower section with small areas of abrasion and surface rubbing, irregularly trimmed, careful repairs to folds, unframed, [circa 1640-1660]⁂ Very scarce example of the printed work of the largely unrecorded Swedish polymath Magnus Nicolaus Celsius. The present plate corresponds directly with plates produced by Celsius for his De cerebro humano, printed in 1646 [a handful of copies are known, with WorldCat recording only one held in the National Library of Sweden].
