(b.1906 - ), View of the Wedgwood Estate, signed in pencil in the margin, mezzotint, 18 x 28cm.; 7 x 11in.; together with, Wedgwood Factory at Etruria, Saggar Mill, signed in pencil in the margin, etching, 20. 5 x 16cm.; 8 x 6. 25in (2). * Born in Burslem, Staffordshire, he was a pupil of M. Osborne and R.S. Austin at the Royal College of Art. Returning to Staffordshire he concentrated on producing atmospheric views of The Potteries.

Julian Trevelyan (1910 - 1988), "The White Nile", signed and titled in pencil; inscribed "artist's proof", colour etching and aquatint, 35 x 47. 5cm.; 13. 75 x 18. 75in. * He was a tutor at Chelsea School of Art, 1950 - 60 and engraving tutor at the Royal College of Art, 1955 - 63. Made Honorary Senior Royal Academician in 1986. Tate Gallery holds his work.

An officer’s full dress sword, c 1820, of The Life Guards, straight, flattened diamond section blade 32", with faint traces of etching at forte, gilt brass hilt with boat shell guard, turn down inner portion, crosspiece, knucklebow and ovoid pommel, wooden grip, in its flattened diamond section steel scabbard. Basically GC (grip cracked and wire missing, blade worn, 75% hilt gilt rubbed, scabbard painted black)

A bandsman’s sword, straight DE blade, 21", with traces of etching at forte, brass S shaped crosspiece with ornamental langets, solid grip, lion’s head pommel, grip stamped TV.R 16 (worn and light pitted); a near relic 1796 infantry sword, broad DE blade with traces of etching, gilt shell guard with unusual turn down portion (remainder of hilt AF), and a sabre with traces of blued and gilt decoration, (hilt AF). Basically GC (some wear and dark pitting to blade, hilt extensively repaired)
