However, each of the three are centered by the arms of a different cardinal, and only in ours - the only unlettered example we could trace - does the cardinal's galero have tassels. Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn Drei Frauenköpfe, eine Frau schlafend. Orig.-Radierung, in der Platte signiert und datiert. 1637. Auf Bütten. 14 : 9,3 cm, Papierformat 18,2 : 13,3 cm. - Breitrandiger, kräftiger, späterer Druck beim Basan-Workshop. Späterer Druck mit der Überarbeitung der Gesichter, der verstärkten Schatten zwischen den beiden oberen Köpfen sowie den vielen kleinen Sprenkeln - vor allem in der unteren weißen Fläche. Zudem mit der Überarbeitung des 'R' in der Rembrandt-Signatur. Die Platte wechselte nachweislich während all der Jahre mehrfach den Besitzer. LITERATUR: New Holstein 161. - Bartsch 368. - White/Boon 368 (einziger Zustand). - Wide margins, strong, later impression at the Basan workshop. Orig. etching, signed and dated on the plate. 1637. Blattgröße 7,7 : 10 cm. - Erstes Exlibris von Kirchner, das noch ganz dem Jugendstil unterlag. Einer der von Dube genannten 200 Abzüge. Kirchner schenkte das Exlibris seinem Vater vermutlich zum Dank für das in München verbrachte Semester, das ihn sehr gefördert hatte. Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Exlibris Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. Strichätzung. 1947. Auf chamoisfarbenem Papier. 9,2 : 7,1 cm. Blattformat 10,5 : 8,5 cm. In rhythmischer Schriftstruktur gestaltetes rein typographisches Exlibris, das durch seine schlichte Ausstrahlung besticht. Nachdem die Berliner Wohnung und das Berliner Atelier durch Bombardierung zerstört wurde, zog sich sich Schmidt-Rottluff 1943-46 nach Chemnitz zurück. 1947 wurde er als Professor an die Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin-Charlottenburg berufen.
