Gillray - appears cut to margin but not stuck down, otherwise no apparent faults.

"White Underwear" is also known by the title, "Sur Le Divan". Reclining female smoking a cigarette in a white negligee. Pencil signed lower right. 14 3/4" x 19" image; 15 1/2" x 19 1/4" plate size; 22" x 30" paper size. Published 1925 by Graveurs Modernes, Paris, Rives paper watermark, also "Made in France" is stamped on the verso in the lower left. Reference: H 247. Later gilt wood frame with mats under glass. A pencil remarque of a cigarette and holder in ashtray on matt lower right is not the work of Icart.
