Norman Alfred Williams Lindsay (Australian, 1879-1969) Dayan (No. 514); The Butterfly (No. 514); The Bauble; (no. 514) and Bangam (No. 514) all signed lower right "Norman Lindsay" and with blindstamp facsimile etchings with certificate of authenticity (4) 17 x 13cm (7 x 5in) Norman Lindsay (1879-1969), artist, cartoonist, and writer, came from a family that produced five artists. Lindsay left home when he was sixteen to live with his brother in Melbourne. In 1901 he moved north to make his permanent home in the Blue Mountains, working for the Bulletin in an association that lasted almost to his death. His first novel was published in 1913, and by the 1920s he was both proficient and prolific in pen and ink drawing, etching, woodcuts, watercolours and sculpture. Lindsay rejected Christianity, and his art depicts Bohemianism and Arcadian pantheism madly mixed in a fantasy world. Some browning around the edges with some slight fading to the paper. The Bauble is missing its glass.

A small scratch to the paper in the border, on the lower right hand side
§ Henry Trivick (British, 1908-1982) London street after bombing, NW1, Second World War signed lower right "Henry Trivick", numbered 3/12 and inscribed with title "London, NW1, Jan. 1941" soft ground etching 42 x 33cm (16 x 13in) Provenance: A gift from the artist to the vendor's mother and by descent. Some browning and creasing to the paper.

Unframed. Spots of foxing along the lower edge. Creasng to the paper all over. Water (?) spots in the sky ? One diagonal crease through the tower.

§ Dame Laura Knight RA (British, 1877-1970) 'Susie' signed lower right "Laura Knight" and numbered 22/40 etching 1928 27 x 37cm (11 x 14in) Exhibited: Leigh Underhill Gallery, 100 Islington High Street, London, N1 Susie was a fisherman's daughter from Mousehole in Cornwall and appears in several of Dame Laura Knight's works, such as 'Susie and The Washbasin', 1929

The Patterson Book: 150 Line Drawings, 1st edition paperback, Temple Press, Summer, 1948, covers worn, pages browning with age, otherwise clean and sound; The Second Patterson Book, First Edition hardback in board covers, Temple Press, November 1952, lacks the dust-jacket, vertical tear to the half-title, the first and last few leaves foxed, but otherwise sound, a very good copy of The Patterson School of Etching, a 16-page cord-tied illustrated pamphlet with brown card covers, together with its original dispatch envelope, and a box and lid, measuring approximately 18 x 15 x 1 ins, and containing 20 copies of a large format Patterson print entitled 'The Record Man' from a print run limited to 250 copies, a large quantity of a smaller format Patterson print with the title "Good Luck!", a small selection of other Patterson prints, and other miscellaneous colour prints, mainly of hobby horse subjects (with duplicates) (a quantity)
