WVZ 12 - eine der zeitigen Radierungen, die motivisch nach einem Aufenthalt auf der Ostseeinsel Bornholm entstanden ist. Provenienz: Schenkung durch die Tochter des Künstlers an eine Dresdner Familie, aus deren Nachlaß in eine Dresdner Privatsammlung. Birch trees at the sea. Etching, 1896. Signed in pencil below the motiv right. Farmed behind glass; on backside of framing with detailed notes by Maja Unger, the artist's daughter. A bit tanned by the sunlight.

Im Passepartout. 36,5 x 56 cm (Pl. ges.), 37,5 x 57 cm (Bl), 48 x 67,5 cm (PP). Etwas angebräunt, rückseitig eine Hinterlegung am unteren Rand. Kleinster Eckabriß unten links. Schöner breiter Rand. View of the castle of Pillnitz from the southern direction. Copperplate engraving / etching, 1726. Signed in the plate lower margin middle. Engraver's signature and date below motiv right. Titled and dedicated in French and German. Mounted in passepartout. A bit tanned brownish, backside with one small patch. Loss of a tiny piece of the lower left corner.

Framed behind glass. Tanned by the sunlight, some stains. The copy in the Lenbachhaus Munich shows no such monogram; pres. special edition or made after Leibl.

Part of fishskin grip is missing. Dents to the scabbard.

An Imperial German Artillery Sword by Alcoso, the 84cm plain single edge fullered steel blade with maker's logo, the plated steel stirrup hilt with wire bound black plastic grip, with black painted steel scabbard and silver bullion thread portapee, 99cm; a Victorian Rifle Regiment Officer's Sword, the 80cm single edge fullered steel blade etched with crowned VR cypher, strung bugle and a family crest, by Maynard, Harrison & Rice, London, with Proved poincon, the silver plated steel gothic hilt with wire bound fishskin grip, 94cm, lacks scabbard; an Indian Kukri, the curved blade stamped ORDEP, NEPAL, with brass bolster and pommel to the horn grip, with leather scabbard and two sharpening knives (3)1 - Some scratching to blade. Plastic grip with a crack under the pommel. Portapee strap is broken. Rust pitting and wear to the paint on the hilt. 2 - Minor rust patches to blade towards the tip, wear to the etching. Lacks scabbard.

A Victorian 1845 Pattern Staff-Sergeant's Sword, the 71cm single edge steel blade pipe backed for the last 18cm, the brass gothic hilt pierced with crowned VR cypher, the inner guard stamped 8, the quillon stamped 2 and 57, with wire bound later leather grip and associated steel mounted leather scabbard, 96cm; a Victorian 1822 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword, the 82.5cm pipe back steel blade faintly etched with the crowned VR cypher and indistinct London maker's name, the brass gothic hilt pierced with crowned VR cypher, with hinged guard, wire bound fishskin grip and leather scabbard with brass locket and chape, 99cm af (2)1 - Grey patching and pitting to the blade which has been ground towards the tip. The fishskin grip has been replaced by leather. The scabbard is not correct for this sword; 2 - Pitting to blade with nicks to the edge, very faint etching. Part of the brass hilt is missing.
