A post 1902 RN officer's sword, almost straight, fullered blade 31½", with faint traces of etching, regulation solid half basket hilt incorporating crowned fouled anchor, with turn down inner portion which locks to scabbard, lion's head pommel and backstrap, wirebound sharkskin grip, in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Basically GC, the hilt retaining approx 35% gilt (one or two small rust patches to heavily cleaned blade)
