MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1266 1:43 scale resin and alloy Ferrari TRi 330LM Le Mans Winner 1962 O.Gendebien / P.Hill 2765.58 miles at 115.24 mph. The model was created by the renowned modeler Tim Dyke in April 2000, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 21 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. hTe model in the traditional Ferrari 'rosso corso' appears in Mint condition with some dust / mildew around tyres, and features the RN6. With 251 detailed special features including "Headlamps - kit units discarded, body countersunk to accept lenses, MV lenses fitted"; "External mirror - moulded on unit removed, reshaped dowelled, lens recess carved in"; "MPH Etching for gear gate" plus many more fantastic details - some only visible under close scrutiny. The base of the model features details of the model with the MPH branding, and is housed in a plain white, Mint cardboard box with MPH Branding. The box contains ephemera relating to the modifications bestowed on the marvellous model plus details of the actual vehicles racing heritage, as well as a photo etched plaque contained in clear plastic snap bag. MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1384 Nardi 'Bisiluro' Le Mans 1955, M.Damonte / R.Crovetto Retired 3rd Hour - Accident. This 1:43 scale resin and alloy model appears in Mint condition and is a Limited Edition model numbered 14 of 25 produced by the late master modeler Tim Dyke in November 2003. The model in red with RN61 comes with hand signed Limited Edition certificate / card, and features two separate body panels which fit onto the model. The model is fixed onto a resin plinth which has a paved effect featuring photo etched plaque, and is housed within a Mint plain white cardboard box with MPH Model branding. The model comes with documents booklet which outline the history behind the Nardi and details the 147 specifications made by Tim Dyke which include "Pedals - MPH bespoke etching"; "Cockpit Floor - MPH bespoke etching, bent to shape, painted aluminium"; "Seats - creases and sags built in" and many more. The level of detail gone into the construction of the model is truly outstanding - some of which is so detailed that it is only visible on close inspection. An unusual and accurately detailed model!
