Geiger, Willi, Maler und Graphiker, 1878-1971. Sammlung von 42 eigh. Briefen, 53 eigh. Postkarten und 1 hs. Lebenslauf. mit 4 farb. Orig.-Ölkreidezeichnungen, 4 Tintenzeichnungen, 2 Kugelschreiberzeichnungen, 1 Bleistiftzeichnung und 1 Orig.-Radierung. Überwieg. München und Feldwies a. Chiemsee 1933 bis 1968. Ca. 100 S. (Quer-)4to. und Quer-Kl.-8vo. Bis 30 : 21 cm und 10,5 : 15 cm. - 9 eigh. - Gut erhalten.Comprehensive collection of 95 autographed letters and postcards by the painter and graphic artist Willi Geiger. Among them 13 autogr. letters and 18 postcards to Maximilian Brantl (1881-1951), jurist and correspondent, from 1933 to 1951, and 22 autogr. letters and 10 postcard to famous art dealer Wolfgang Gurlitt. With 4 orig. oil chalk drawings, 4 ink drawings, 2 ballpoint pen drawings, 1 pencil drawing and 1 orig. etching. Ca. 105 pp. (oblong) 4to and oblong small 8vo. Up to 30 : 21 cm and 10,5 : 15 cm. - With two full-page drawings of a motif in strong colors and a series of 13 illustrations, presumably as model for a portfolio. - In good condition.
