Herbert Dicksee (English, 1862-1942). The Last Furrow, etching with drypoint, artist proof on vellum, signed l.l., London: Frost & Reed, 1899, unframed, well-preserved, clean & bright, some pale spotting & discolouration to margins beyond plate-mark, 31cm by 60cm. Together with a companion etching, Against the Wind and Open Sky, but this one torn through centre as found (2)
Nathaniel P Steinberg (1893-1976) Etching. "Sweet Adeline" signed and titled in pencil. An active painter, illustrator and etcher in Chicago, Nathaniel Steinberg was born in Jerusalem, Palestine. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with Wellington Reynolds and George Bellows. From 1938, he had a career as staff artist for the "Chicago American". Memberships included the Palette and Chisel Academy, which he served as President from 1960 to 1961, the Chicago North Shore Association and the Watercolor Society of Washington DC. Some references give his death date as 1966, but a family member says that is incorrect and that the death date is 1976. Overall size: 18 1/2 x 17 in. Sight size: 9 1/4 x 11 in.
Carlo Lasinio (1759-1838) Italian, Etching (1812) "Abramo e Lot in Egitto" Abraham and Lot in Egypt. After the painting by Benozzo Gozzoli. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has a copy of this print in their collection. Pub Molini, Landi and Compagno. Overall size: 23 1/2 x 39 in. Sight size: 19 1/2 x 34 3/4 in.
Framed Lithograph, titled "Sedona Autumn", dated 1983. Artist signature on lower right. Numbered 1/100. Has Certificate of Authenticity on back. Frank Howell was born in 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa. A well-known Southwest painter, print-maker and gallery owner, he did finely rendered, etching like portraits of time-worn Native Americans. His goal was to depict the dignity of his subjects. He was born in Sioux City Iowa and raised in a small home overlooking the Missouri River. He studied art and writing at the Unviersity of Northern Iowa andtaught high school in Iowa. In the late 1960s, he moved to Colorado and opened Breckenridge Galleries. After living briefly in Taos and Colorado, he opened the Howell Gallery in Santa Fe. He was an accomplished photographer, and writer of an art computer program. Overall size: 29 3/8 x 38 1/8 in. Sight size: 21 1/2 x 30 1/2 in.

Sir Terry Frost RA (1915-2003)"It is True" or "Lorca Sun" Signed, inscribed and dated (19)91, numbered 13/25, lithograph and etching, 76cm by 57cmThe work has been float mounted. The paper has a deckled edge. Slight cockling to the paper. Some light surface dirt and debris trapped under the glass. Handling crease right of centre of left edge of the plate (left of the sun). Tiny sporadic minor foxing spots in places, in particular within the pale yellow upper left corner. The sheet has been attached in the margins to the mount board and you can see four circular areas slightly protruding to the top margin and bottom margin. Not examined out of the frame. Wooden frame.
