Edward, knowing our keen interest in art, introduced us to Jennifer, a Royal Academician whose work we had long admired. Jennifer was in London for her annual participation in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, was showcasing her latest pieces – a requirement for her prestigious role as a Royal Academician. We got to know Jennifer and, as avid admirers of her work, my wife Susie and I were thrilled when Edward proposed hosting an exhibition of Jennifer's art at our Chelsea home. We displayed her collection for six months before the exhibition, a period during which our appreciation deepened profoundly. Ultimately, we acquired 15 pieces from this collection and the initial acquisition laid the foundation for the rest of our collection which we continued to expand over the years.” Postage for this lot is available to the UK for £21.76.
