ANDERS LEONARD ZORN (SWEDISH 1860-1920) SKERRIKULLA 1912 Etching, signed, dated 1912 (in plate), 25 x 20cm (9 3/4 x 7 7/8") James Connell & Sons label verso Condition Report: There are two very small bleached spots located in the left section, upper middle, two similar above the headline and two slightly more noticeable ones close to the right edge of the plate at middle. On close inspection there is a slight diagonal, what appears to be a crease line in the paper, located in proximity to the top right corner area.
WILLIAM STRANG RA, RPE (SCOTTISH 1859-1921) THE PROCESSION (1902) Drypoint etching, signed, signed and dated 1902 (plate), 20 x 40cm (7 7/8 x 15 3/4") Condition Report: There are what look to be scratch marks in the paper in the plate in proximity to the left edge at top , bottom and the upper area of the lower middle section, together with the odd tiny scratch mark in the left hand section. There is a crease line in the paper located at the bottom left hand corner in the area of the margin, and a small, what appears to be loose hair fragment, on the bottom margin on the left.
JAMES ABBOTT MCNEILL WHISTLER (AMERICAN 1834-1903) ARTHUR HADEN Drypoint etching, signed and dated 1859 (in plate), 20.5 x 13.3cm (8 1/16 x 5 1/4") Condition Report: The paper is noticeably wavy in appearance. The margins are discoloured and mildly foxed, and on very close inspection there is a small, what appears to be, vertical crease line running from eye to mouth. There is a small bleached area in the margin and edge of image upper right and very light foxing noticeable over bottom third of image being most apparent in the bottom corner areas, The paper looks slightly creased in the bottom right hand corner area.

There is a tiny foxing mark in the bottom margin of 'Cafe Cahors' in addition to what appears to be very slight rubbing in parts of the bottom margin running parallel to and close to the edge of the image.
WILLIAM WALCOT RBA, RE (BRITISH 1874-1943) ANTHONY IN EGYPT NO. 2 Drypoint etching, signed, 50.5 x 50.5cm (20 x 20") Taylor & Brown label verso Condition Report: There is light discolouration of the margins most evident at the edge next to the mount and a few spots of light foxing around the margins, the largest in the bottom margin at middle. On close inspection the margin paper next to the edge of the plate appears slightly rubbed down the right hand edge. The paper seems slightly wavy in the lower section of the plate.

Abolitionism.- Ackermann (Rudolph) Meeting of the Society for the Extinction of the Slave Trade, & for the Civilization of Africa, aquatint and etching by Harris after Blunt, with hand-colouring on wove paper, without watermark, platemark 255 x 310 mm. (10 x 12 1/8 in), light exposure lines with toning to the sheet, some surface dirt and minor spotting, unframed, 1840.⁂ Scarce.
Americana.- War of 1812.- Charles (William) John Bull making a new Batch of Ships to send to the Lakes, etching and aquatint on laid paper with indistinct text-based watermark, platemark 255 x 335 mm. (10 x 13 1/4 in), sheet 280 x 440 mm. (11 x 17 1/4 in), carefully repaired marginal tears, some handling creases and light surface dirt, unframed, published by the artist, [Philadelphia, 1814].⁂ Satire celebrating the American naval victories of Perry and Macdonough during the War of 1812. King George III tries to replenish his navy with the "Patent Oven for Bakeing Ships," but is warned that "You had better keep both your Ships and Guns at home. If you send all you've got to the Lakes, it will only make fun for the Yankeys to take them."

The Conflagration of Dalla, on the Rangoon River, plate 17 from 'Rangoon Views, and Combined Operations in the Birman Empire', etching and aquatint with hand-colouring on wove paper without watermark, a very good clear impression with wide margins, platemark 325 x 425 mm. (12 3/4 x 16 3/4 in), sheet 355 x 495 mm. (14 x 19 1/2 in), faint exposure line from previous mount, some light handling creases and surface dirt, unframed, Thomas Clay, 1826.
Swiss dwarf.- Mezzotints.- Gole (Jacob) Jaen Worrenberg / Hans Worrenberg, mezzotint and etching, on laid paper with indistinct watermark, sheet 250 x 185 mm. (9 7/8 x 7 1/4 in), trimmed to or just within platemark, small pin hole in the upper left, minor rubbing, unframed, [1675-1724]; together with four other mezzotints, including two by Gole portraying 'Federico III' and 'Monsieur le Mareschal de Villeroy', and a fine but slightly damaged copy of 'S. Napoleon.- Ackermann (Rudolph, publisher) Birth of Bonoparte, satire on Napoleon, illustrating two devils discussing their offspring, the male asserting his "Children [the Jacobites] destroy Altar's and Thrones", while "her Infernal Majesty" claims she has "hatched a Corsican" and that "Mine does more, he destroys whole Nations", etching with hand-colouring on wove paper without watermark, sheet 340 x 270 mm. (13 1/2 x 10 5/8 in), handling creases, some surface dirt and minor browning, unframed, 1805.⁂ Scarce. No copy recorded in the British Museum or BL, but a copy is held in the Bibliothèque nationale de France, from the Collection de Vinck.
