1796 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword30 3/4 inch, single edged blade with large fuller. Faint traces of etching and crowned "GR" cypher. Gilt brass, double shell guard with folding rear section. Gilt brass knuckle bow and quillon with floral decoration. Gilt brass urn pommel with floral decoration. Replacement grip wire binding. Some pitting to blade.
