A Victorian mahogany North Country chest of drawers. A concealed drawer, two short over three graduated drawers, flanked by turned pillars. With turned handles. Raised on a plinth base. L128cm x D56cm x H120cm Condition Report: Generally in good condition. Strong colour with no obvious stains and watermarks. Some loss and cracks to the veneer (most noticeably to the plinth base and the corner of the second drawer down). All drawers open and close smoothly, approximately two of the handles are loose and the lower right one has been broken and repaired with an area still missing. The top of one of the pillars is missing. The keyholes are possibly unoriginal. Shows signs of general wear including knocks and scratches consistent with age and usage. No signs of worm or damp damage.
A 20th century oak chest of drawers. Two short over three long drawers, with textured detail to the front and metal swing handles, on a plinth base, H101cm x W103cm x D49cm Condition Report: Overall in good-very good condition. Some spots of residue to the wood and minimal water stains to the top. The drawers open smoothly. Despite some small knocks, wear and scratches to the wood consistent with age and usage there are no significant breakages. Structurally sound and the handles are secure. No signs of restoration.
Adolphe Jean Lavergne (act.1863-1928), a 19th century bronze sculpture of Pecheur (fisher boy). Signed Lavergne on the plinth, plaque to the front of the base reading 'PECHEUR par lavergne', the underside of the base impressed CHARMEUR PECHEUR and numbered 1012 ...? (illegible). Height to top of rod 34.5cm Condition Report: basically pretty good. I cannot help but think the rod is now bent ( I am not aware of the original). The boy is not holding anything in his hands however each hand has a small hole to the centre suggesting something was once there.I have included several pictures which should answer any questions

A Late Victorian Mahogany, Satinwood-Banded, Boxwood and Ebony-Strung Library Bookcase, late 19th century, the crossbanded moulded cornice above astragal-glazed doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base with four moulded cupboard doors all between canted stiles, on a plinth base207cm by 51cm by 247cmThe bookcase has some variations in colour. Some general scuffs and scratches. Overall reasonable, however, the top section has a water/heat mark (as photographed). The cupboard doors close properly and are straight. The glazed doors are also good (and with key). The shelves to the upper section are all adjustable. The height of the bookcase is 247cm and the width at the widest point is 207cm (this is the plinth top).
A Late Regency Satinwood and Ebony Breakfront Dwarf Linen Press, early 19th century, the moulded cornice above two central cupboard doors enclosing hanging space and formerly fitted with trays, flanked by wings, one side fitted with shelves, the other with a sliding tray and six mahogany-lined drawers, the base with three deep drawers, on a plinth base234cm by 64cm by 176cmGood uniform colour, with the exception of the right-hand side panel which has some slight fading. Numerous scuffs and losses throughout, these are mainly around the moulded section on the cornice. The middle section of the left-hand panel also has some small sections of timber missing (as photographed). The ebonised moulding on the two middle doors is damaged (as photographed). The interior is now lacking the sliding trays, and is now just as hanging space. We can confirm that the linen press splits down - the moulded cornice and base are one piece, the two wings are seperate, the middle section is another piece.
A George III Mahogany Glazed Bookcase, late 18th century, the moulded cornice above astragal glazed doors enclosing pine-lined interiors with moulded cupboard doors below, on a plinth base 130cm by 47cm by 230cmProvenance: Dutton Manor, Lancashire The bookcase splits in half. Glazing is intact. Side panels with some splitting (see images). Various small veneer losses throughout. Key and working lock. Numerous scuffs throughout, mainly to the corners around the cupboard doors below the glazed doors (see further images). The cupboard doors are very slightly misshapen at the top if being critical. The fabric to the interior can be removed to reveal what appear to be original pine boards.
