A large and unusual circa 1900 scratch built clock in the Gothic manner, constructed from used cigar boxes and with circular dial set with Roman numerals beneath a glass dome and raised on ebonised plinth, clock height 61cm, overall height 70cm. *Included in this lot is a photograph of the vendor's Grandfather outside his cigar shop in Liverpool. The vendor's Grandfather was the gentleman who constructed this clock from used cigar cases.*

A William IV satin birch breakfront bookcase, having a moulded cornice over four glazed doors, four panelled doors and a plinth base, 174cm wide 37cm deep 236cm high CONDITION REPORT: Usual wear and tear. Minor losses and rubbing and veneer repair. Some fading of polish and discolouration. Scratches - some deep near hinges and on sides. Some moulding replaced to plinth. Large hole to base where bolts to base doors go. Black scuff marks, bruises and darkened patches. Some worm damage and loss of moulding to base of lower left hand door.
